The hostel is a good value overall. It is in a nice location close to the Chiang Kai-Shek memorial - which is close to the main station via MRT. The showers are clean and have hot water, and the rooms are clean albeit a little stuffy.

Hostel was easy to find, located close to the subway, and very clean/friendly. Highly recommend. Only thing is that it is about a 40 minute walk to Taipei Main Station or Ximen if you stay out past 12am, when the subway closes.

The Hostel was very nice and close to the subway station (10min walk). I had a double room which was located next to the kitchen the entry without window. First I thought would be loud bould this was not the case. Only, if somebody cook it was a stinky air inside.

We planned to stay one night and extended for another four as the location was perfect and we could visit the places we wanted easily by bus =). The staff was very friendly and knew all we needed to know, so we were free to ask anything. Thanks for this great stay =)

The location of the hostel is pretty near the MRT station (Gu Ting Station), which is a short 5mins walk away. Moreover, the hostel is very near the nightmarket (Shida Night Market), thus there's no fear of lack of food late in the night. The staffs of the hostel are also very friendly. I will never forget the birthday party they held for the boss, while I was there. Moreover, the toilets and the bathing rooms of the hostel are also very clean, which is also a plus point.

Definitely one of the best hostels I\'ve ever stayed in. Very clean and nicely designed, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the location was good. MRT station, supermarket, restaurants, night market, bars and clubs are all in walking distance. Highly recommended ... I would stay there again!

Very nice staff. They arranged party on sat, but sad to know that late i couldn\'t join. Stayed in basement, need air-con for better ventilation.

This hostel was pretty good overall. The staff was excellent and everything was nice and clean inside. The only problems were that the walls are very thin and we could hear people outside the room very clearly while we were trying to sleep at several times during the night. Also, the directions on hostel world from the train station to the hostel are not very good or detailed and we ended up getting lost and having to call the hostel for someone to come and find us.

This is probably the best hostel in Asia. Staff is so helpful and friendly, location is great. It is very close to Shi Da night market and National Taiwan Normal University, about a 5 min walk from Gu Ting subway station (exit 5).The place is very comfortable and extremely clean. Would recommend to everyone traveling TaiPei.

The hostel is very difficult to find with the directions provided and with a map of the city. From the directions it would appear you don't have to make any turns, when in fact, you must make 2 turns. It was an average hostel but a sufficient place for a single night. It is close to the university and the large night market.

Taipei Taipei was incredibly clean with a good atmosphere and amazing staff. They were all so helpful and friendly and worked hard to keep the atmosphere of the place inviting and comfortable for everyone. However, it should be said that all the rooms are actually in the basement, with no windows, so very stuffy and seriously loud. One can hear all the conversations, tv, walking, cooking, and snoring coming from any other place in the hostel loud and clear from their room. But overall, good.
