It was a very good stay. When we arrived, the location is already fulled so they lead us to another place (same street, lane #135). We checked in at 10AM, and understandably the room was not ready, however the attendant let us leave our belongings there, and offer to bring them in our room when the room is ready. The double room we had was very nice, though abit small (which we didn't mind). The bed was super comfortable, with air conditioning. The shower and toilet was very clean. Great value.

Dirty, bad smell, moist...We can't stay in the room because the bad smell. So we try to go back as late as possible. We also pay extra 100NT$ for two day's air container. I can't get any service from here. When I asked the wifi password, the guy told me it's in the card impatiently. Finally, I can't connect to wifi with the wrong password till I left Taipei. I will never never go there again. And I will tell my family and friends about this.

A very good place to stay. It is very central, good if you just arrived in Taiwan. The staff are very helpful, and the rooms are fine. MRT is close by and good food places around there. If you are looking for a place to stay, try the Happy Family.

Stupendous location. Comfy beds. Was able to feel secure about leaving my bags there. A decent atmosphere up in the TV room. Mr.Lee was very helpful when I needed some help finding my way.

Considering the location good price and nice owner.there is basically everything you need,in a rustic way.just keep in mind you could look like after a fight with mike tyson after waking up in the morning because of the combination of mosquitos and bloody bedbugs.

Location is excellent, and the staff is helpful too. However, the hostel cleaningness and atmosphere need to enhance, and suggest to renovate the hostel as the toilet and bathroom is not very clean.

The owner was very helpful, friendly, and warm, but after arriving and paying, I was led up to my room which was "basic" at best. And the main area was under remodel, so was a complete disaster and filthy.

Condition was not exactly as in the pictures, but overall still a fantastic stay. Helpful and friendly staff, who accomodate your needs if within their means. Recommended!

Was a very good location, close to everything and easy to find, and the owner is very friendly and helpful! Was a bit scared to find a roach or two, but overall it was a nice place to stay at!

I read some reviews about the place not being clean, but I didn't have that problem. If you're used to Taiwanese living standard and not the fancy hotel standards, the hostel is not bad at all! Along with the low prices, the excellent location and a manager who's very eager to improve his English, I can't think of anything to complain.

You get what you pay for. It's not expensive, but the hostel itself isn't a place I would want to spend much time. It had hot water, beds with clean sheets and the staff were nice.
