Lovely place to stay. Room was nicely decorated! Location is very close to zi qiang night market. Zi qiang is a small night market with good food! There's a tiramisu place a 10-15 mins walk from the hostel which serves nice tiramisu and cakes at a an unbelievably inexpensive price. Rachel gave us good recommendations on things to eat. Taroko gorge tour was good, an equal amount of walking and time spent in the car.

Great service provided by the hostel!! Due to the long holiday weekend in taiwan,we had encountered difficulty in securing last minute accomodations and trains to other locations. Special thanks to Paul and Rachel for going the extra mile in helping to look for accomodation and securing train tickets. Otherwise we will not have been able to proceed smoothly for the remaining trip. Nice room with a cosy setting.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially that you will pick you up from the train station for free! Rachael gave me a gift when i left the hostel, which was very sweet! The downside is the location, it\'s not in the central of the town and a bit inconvenient but close to the local food market in the evening.

Wonderful hostel, really nice rooms with good facilities, and great tour packages. The tour of the gorge was easily one of the best things we did in Taiwan. The staff were extremely good to us, picking us and helping us find our way about Hualien. I would definitely recommend it.

We loved staying at this hostel. It was really comfortable and Rachel was really helpful.
