We liked this hostel very much. Location is great, it's clean and cosy, staff is really helpful, it's worth to stay there.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the hostel was very cute. There is a kitchen and a common area, and the dorm has very comfortable beds with privacy curtains. The only disadvantage is that there is only one bathroom (one toilet room and a separate sink and shower room) for all of the guests (or at least all of the downstairs guests). While I never had any trouble getting into the toilet, there was often a long line for the shower.

Nara is a lovely city and this is a fine hostel, though the traditional design and paper walls can make for a noisy time. Bring your earplugs for a good nights sleep! Friendly owner, close to transport, food and all the sights of Nara. Limited slightly by single shower, but the water is HOT and if you are an early riser there shouldn't be any problems.

Lovely Japanese style hostel with a wonderful host. Helped my finding restaurants, sights, train stations whatever. It is not hard to find with the provided access map and good located for a trip in Nara (probably as every guesthouse in this small city^^)
