Said I'll be there at 21.00, but with train problems we arrived at 22.45. There was noone there and what's even worse, nobody was answering to the thelepj+hone number, we tried for 10x times or so. So we were left standing on the street and had to find some hotel in the centre....

Check in time (5pm) and checkout time (9am) is a big problem. Especially in Winter. Got there 20 minutes early and they wouldn't answer the door. Not friendly at all. We were left out in the cold even when we knew someone was inside and they knew we were waiting outside. Pretty poor for Japan. No "thankyou" when we left. Looks like they didn't want to face their customers in the morning.
