Nothing special exept the location close to Taksim metro (10 min by foot) and walking way (10-15 min) to tramway which can take you to Sultanahmed. Toilet in the room is very poor as well as ventiletion. Actually no sign of the hostel on the hostel building. Bad clothes better to have yourown as is was not clean. Bath tawels on request.

The days we spent in Taksim Sofa Hostel, I really won´t forget them. The friendliness and the hospitality of the staff make it to an unique place. The hostel is good situated: the Taksim place ist maybe ten minutes to walk but nevertheless it´s calm. Around the corner you find an excellent bakery where you can buy very good Simits. One thing should be done: a backgammon board in the living room! Thank you very much for this stay!

A very warm and welcoming place, lying in the centre of Beyoglu. Taksim and the other hosts are very friendly, invite you for dinner and raki, give you tips about what to do and to go... One day I'll come back to Istanbul, and I won't hesitate to choose Taksim Sofa Hostel again.

Really good location (although a little hard to find). The staff were really friendly and upgraded me to a private room when I arrived late at night, which was great. Clean dorms and good bathrooms.

It was very cold, and it is unsafe because we could not lock the door of our room since the manager did not give the keys.
