Great hostel and great welcome and introduction. Was nice to feel welcomed with the 'welcome' sign. Would have been great if towels were provided.

The staff was very pleasant. The hostel is in a good location close to restaurants and shopping in the market. It served its purpose-a place to sleep and shower. But the towels are not free, which i think is silly. I liked the rooftop also. It's basically a help yourself and clean up after yourself environment. The bathrooms could have been cleaner. The bedrooms were a little cold.

I stayed here 3 nights for the second time and it is definitely the best hostel in Tanger. Rooms and shower are clean. The rooftop terrace has a great view an breakfast included is very good. Staff is very friendly and polyglot and atmosphere of the hostel was cosy and chillin out.

Great hostel with a nice feel inside the building - a bit tricky to find though, even when attempting to follow the directions given! But the staff are very helpful and friendly. The private room we stayed in was clean and quiet.

Great hostel! Staff are helpful, kind, and accommodating (thanks for all your help Gonzalo!). Beautiful inside, and kept very clean by a lovely woman who does a fantastic job. Well working, stocked, and clean kitchen, fantastic terrace, plenty of hot water in the showers, places to lock up valuables, mellow lighting, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, quiet neighborhood with close access to the medina and stores for food. My only complaint is the mattresses, which are about 60% comfortable.

This hostel embodies its name fully, providing an unparalelled environment for socializing with fellow travelers. Incredible roof terrace and the staff are absolute legends. Make the Melting Pot your launch pad for excursions into the medina and you will learn to love Tangier.

Have no fears about the ancient medina ,its an amazing maze with surprize and visuals all the way unit the doot to melting pot opens. The reception was friendly and knowledgeable. The rooftop was my perch and breakfast was hearty. If a 61 year old dad and his 20 year old son found it impressive you will too. Ask for the taxi ride to the coast and Hercules caves worth the 25 $. Thank Melting pot

Great hostel, not too hard to find in the Medina. Weren't many people while I was there, but I'd imagine it's a blast during high season. Staff is knowledgable has the means to organize or arrange all needs in Tangier. Great view from rooftop, and Gonzalo mixed me a nice shish pipe. I didn't stay long in Tangier and definitely want to return, and I will certainly stay here again if it happens. Suggestion: something more than bread and jam for breakfast could be nice at 11 bucks a night?

the bathroom on ground floor has a curtain that does not work when you have to use handheld shower and water spills everywhere. The taxi rates offered thru hostel are high.

Great hostel! With great staff. We were taken out for diner to a really local place, and really cheap: comes close to the best food we have had! For the rest great pancakes in the morning and great showers!

Great hostel, great staff, can be a bit noisy if you're next to the alley where some annoying kids were hanging out until really late. Melting pot might be a reference to what the food in Tangier will do to your stomach... Awesome rooftop tho!

Whilst I only stayed a night before catching a ferry the next day, the place seemed clean and relaxed. And in terms of location it was in a good place for me as it wasn't a long walk to the port.

Really great hostel! Very convenient location, especially from the port. Fun decor and a nice rooftop place to eat and hang out.

I feel it wasn't necessarily the hostels fault I didn't feel safe, but for sure they do not heed enough warning that there is scam after scam after scam in Morocco. And once you think all the scamming is done. They scam you. Don't let anyone show you to the hostel. Don't let anyone talk you into a tour. Everyone will try to sell you hash. It's insane. But all in all the hostel wasn't bad. Could be improved in some parts, but you for sure get what you pay for. Breakfast is decent too. For Morocco

Perfect location and atmosphere (perfect terrasse where you can easily get to know other guests), and really good Moroccan breakfast :) And specially the staff, all of them really nice and very helpful people! I will definitely come back :)
