This is a great social hostel. However we found it a little strange that staff who were living in the hostel had to go through our room to get to their own room upstairs. This caused issues as we were kept awake by people going in and out throughout the night. Staff themselves were super friendly and helpful when working at the hostel but we found this setup to be pretty ridiculous especially when staff are working through the night & early mornings.

Awesome location. Palermo is the best area in BA. The only problem with this hostel is that there is only one computer but wifi is avbl. Beside this small critic, everything is perfect. You should definitely go there if you are in BA ! Cheers,

On the whole, the hostel has a great atmosphere and a great social area/lounge. However, I was sharing a 4 bed female dorm and it was very small, the four of us couldn't be in there at the same time very comfortably unless we were all lying down. The biggest let down was that there was no where convenient to get changed. The toilet cubicles barely have enough space in which to sit down!

The staircase leading to room 11 was very difficult to navigate at night when the kitchen/patio area was closed and the other staircase did not lead to the room.

The offer of a shuttle was the draw-card for my booking at this hostel, however they did not respond to both my online booking and further e-mail query. After waiting 1 1/4 hours we were informed that they had arrived at the meeting point, but there was no-one there. This is strange as there were 3 of us with the same information and standing at the same orange meeting point? I think that this should not be advertised as it is until it is up and running in a efficient manner.

Tango Backpackers is by far the best hostel to stay in while you are in Buenos Aires. The location can´t be beat and is in the most happening part of the city...Palermo! absolutely everything is walking distance, the bars, clubs, subway and the staff will help you find whatever you need. Highly recommend it!!

This was my first stay in BA and in a hostel outside the US and I thought it was a great place. The location is good about 5 blocks to the Subte station at Plaza Italia but a little further away from the bars and nightlife of Plaza Serano and the Palermo Viejo area. The staff were great, always around and very helpful. It does get loud even late as night as they have a bar on the main floor so if you plan to sleep early, get a room away from the main area. Overall, great for the money!

Very bad quality hostel. The rooms are old, smelly and dirty. The linen is ridiculous. I had a booking for two nights and they made me change room, without a reseanoble explanation. On january 1ft, I needed to check out at 11, completelly drunk, in order to get another room. The bathrooms are old and not clean at all. What could compensate it is the people. However, most of the guys there were very strange and broken. Bizzare place, amazing region. Palermo is cool, pubs and amazing empanadas

An overall good experience. Though only 1 computer and a rudimentary kitchen, it is a nice stay and a good alternative to the other hostels in the area.

the hostel is very well located- in Palermo Viejo, on a nice street. The lounge area and bar are the best part of the hostel. One point that is no good is the size and quality of the single bedroom- too short and too tiny for a person to live and sleep in.

Although it may be advertised as a party hostes it is not. Not nearly half the fun you would have in Milhouse and is even less confortable. But it still is a good hostel. Excellent location in Palermo. Near the best nightclubs in Buenos Aires, some very good stores, just a few blocks from the subway and next to lots of bus stops. Could be cleaner, less noisy and have better beds. Good atmosphere and convenient for those in town for the nightlife.

This hostel is not good at all. The rooms, furniture, bathrooms and linen are old, dirty and smelly. The linen particularly is ridiculous. Very strange folks were around and couldn't feel safe. They are disorganized as well. Well, not recommended.

Actually we can t recomand this hostel. Although the location in palermo is very good and the staff is well organized, i have to say that the rooms aren t very clean, also the bathrooms aren t. The double room was very dirty and very hot. For the money we paid you can find other hostels in palermo which are much more nicer and cleanier.

Great location, but sheets were dirty and the staff was not as kind as I've experienced at other places. Their travel agent, Vicki, is amazing though and helped us make arrangements for anything and everything we wanted to do in the city.
