We stayed at this hostel for two nights which was far too long. My room was tiny, up an impossibly narrow spiral staircase with so much noise (traffic) and such an uncomfortable bed that I got hardly any sleep. Also, many other guests I met had got bed bugs from staying there. I would not recommend this hostel! They need to upgrade their facilties and think more about the guests experience than making money.

All Tango hostels are renowned for being party hostels, though you can buy drinks cheaper elsewhere. large mix of nationalities which was great. Lockers in the room were mostly broken and beds (I was stayin in 6 bed dorm) are very thin and have no barriers so you best not be a figety sleeper! Was quite noisy to sleep there, needed eye mask and ear plugs from both people coming in late and traffic noise. Safe neighbourhood however, short walk to the bars and fab shops. Can eat cheaply nearby.

The interesting things are the female staff are more helpful and friendlier than the male staff. I just want to say thank you for the staff (sorry, I don't know her name) who organised my trip to Colonia del Sacramento. she is very good and professional. Natalia is also very good

The free shuttle I booked to pick me up from the airport never showed, so I waited two hours and finally had to take a bus. The luggage store room door seems to always be left open. Also, the rooms are quite loud, a lot of street noise.

We stayed at Tango Backpackers 4 years ago in addition to our recent stay, and felt like the hostel had lost some of its fun character and the staff were less friendly.

Dorm door don´t close well, and 'left luggage' is left with open door. Building too old and needs serious improvements.

pretty good hostel. front desk does get pretty busy at check out time which can be a bit annoying though staff are nice and friendly and try and help. Nice terrace for beautiful BA sunny days

Breakfast ends too early (10:00), Checkout was too early (also 10:00). They closed the bathrooms for cleaning right around 9:30/10 which was extremely inconvenient since most people needed to shower at that time. There's also a lot of street noise. If you're looking for a big hostel, where you won't sleep much this one's good, but I'm sure you can find better...
