My rating is not reflective of the hostel because despite taking my reservation when I showed up they were CLOSED for renovations! I had trouble even getting in the door to speak to someone. They put me in a neighbouring hostel (same company). It wasn't bad in the end but I paid a deposit for that hostel so this is quite unprofessional and I had to organise them honouring my deposit at the other hostel.

Good hostel, nice staff, really helpfull. However FREEZING coffee in the morning and TERRIBLE shower. I stayed with my mother in a double bed ensuite (room number 4) which shower was impossible. The water was or too cold or too hot. When we tried to balance it, the water went cold. They should check the showers on a regular basis.

I know this place is closing forever on April 14 2012, but I still can't recommend it. A bunch of kids making a ton of noise at 3am and not even caring who hears? Sorry, I'm not 17 anymore, and some of us want to sleep. Breakfast was just pieces of bread.

Some of the staff was helpful but the majority was rather unfriendly and you could feel that felt bothered each time you approached them . Bathrooms were not very clean and rooms and also general facilities are rather run down. But nice terasse with barbecue facilities. Good vibes and good to meet other travellers.

NIce hostel, good terrace, spacious rooms, substantial bathrooms, pretty clean, seems a bit disorganised though at times.

Decent hostel in a great location 5 or 10 minutes walk from Plaza Serrano. Not the best I stayed at in Buenos Aires, but perfectly fine.

There aren´t any backpackers which could dancing Tango. This hostel has just the name \\\"Tango hostel\\\"!!! The employees of the hostel are very unfriendly and not helpful and the facilties are very old and the bed felt like a boat which could crash together in the next moment! I would never stay again in this hostel!!! Not recommendable!!!

The stay in the hostel was AMAZING. Very cool people and a very nice and friendly staff. We loved being there and enjoyed our stay. Also the hostel was placed very well and the music was always FANCY.

Staffs were not very helpful, I found one staff kind and eager to assist you! I will not consider staying there again

Had a great time, unfortunately the staffs taste in music was pretty poor and I did witness someone get there bag stolen. Nobody to blame really but maybe security could be a bit more tight. Aside from that its a great place and I would stay again.

We booked a double room which required climbing a narrow circular staircase to get to our room. This was interesting with big backpacks on. We were only here for one night but it seemed to have a good feel to the hostel and the breakfast was great. Location is also good.

By far the best thing about this hostel is the location. The staff were a bit of a mixed bag. The hostel is pretty big so can feel quite impersonal and facilities like the terrace shut at 10pm which is early for Buenos Aires.

The hostel in general was good, but my room was kinda absurd. Inside it, there's stairs to a Staff room, and the staff come and go at all hours, banging doors, running, etc. It's almost impossible to get a nice night of sleep that way. Also, in one night, the cleaning guy was sleeping in my room and he kept complaining about the fan, he was super rude. At first from cold, then I turned it all for me; later about the noise, wich isn't loud. Then he snored the hole night. Like, really???
