Stayed here 3 times (total of 7 nights) last month (November 2011). Great location, friendly staff, and a nice hostel to meet new friends and have a great time in Bs As!! Only point of attention was a recent change in policy to stop selling alcohol after 11pm (only effecting 2 of my nights), in a city where people go out for dinner after midnight, this can potentially harm/ruin the character and fun of this good hostel.

Awesome staff, great atmosphere and excellent facilities. For those who are foreign, the diversity of travelers at this hostel will really make you experience in BSAS.

The room was too small for lockers which was a shame and more than one computer would have been appreciated. Otherwise i loved the common areas, the hostel was very clean and all of the staff were great.

Great price for what you get. The rooms are clean (some are small). The bathrooms are ok, but don't expect luxury. The staff is nice and treat everybody well. The location, Palermo region, is great to visit the old part of the city and has many options of public transportation.

This HS hostel was pretty good. The staff were useful and there is a little traveller vibe in the groundfloor in the evenings. There´s decent nightlife close by and plenty of restaurants. Out of the 3 areas you can stay (based of concentration of hostels) I would stay in Palermo Viejo again. You can get to San Telmo and the microcentre easily on buses or subte (metro).

I stayed here for two weeks. It was a fun place that always seemed to have a good crowd of people passing through it. I stayed in three different rooms and some of the matresses could have been better especially in room 4, but that is the norm for hostels and i think tango was replacing some of them anyway. The cleaning staff could have been more polite but the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again when i pass through buenos aires.

Hi all - I ended up at Tango after a bad experience with another hostel, and this was a breath of fresh air. Lots of character, in the best area of BA (Palermo is a perfect place to chill out - the center, surprisingly, is actually not). Wifi, comfy lounges scattered throughout, rooms with thick walls, and nice staff - it was a cool place. The bathrooms were a little below average, which would be my only criticism - but considered against the other mediocre BA hostels, would recommend it!

The best part about this hostel was the very accommodating and helpful staff, who did everything from help you plan your trip around Buenos Aires to help you plan your trip around Argentina. Fantastic!
