The rooms stunk of damp, the beds were broken and uncomfortable. The windows were dripping with condensation and the wardrobe doors were broken and hanging off. The staff weren't very helpful and apart from one could offer no local information about things to do and buses to attractions

Decent hotel with a nice common room, where you can enjoy time with other guests and it's got a beautiful garden that could be used during spring/autumn seasons. The best thing about this place was its location, within walking distance to the civic centre and main bus stops to move around the city. The breakfast was acceptable and the cleanliness was very good. However, the building in general needs to be taken care of. The staff were always ready to help!
Breakfast was amazing at this hostel! Ceiling was leaking water and they only used a basket to rectify that issue but that was the only downfall. Great location on main street. Would recommend if you want a private room over dorms!
The staff are really friendly and helpful in every way, and speak good English. The hotel badly needs to update: beds, carpets, bathroom, tiling and general decor. The staff clean really well but due too surfaces being so dated the place doesn't really feel clean. Rooms facing the street were very noisy. We generally sleep through anything, but some nights it was too much even for us.
