They cancelled our booking cause they had a problem with their computers, but without any message for us.. =( we was there with all our luggage and they were not interested to help us.. In the other hostel (hostel tango) which we had to find ourselves and where we can stay for the two nights (they were very friendly, a very nice hostel) we heared about that that is very typical for hostel tanguera. pfffffff...

The bathrooms and toilets are really dirty and only cleaned once a day. The bathrooms were full of hair from other people. Also the private room was dirty, humid and it smelled horrible. it was so small and had no normal window besides a ventilation kind of round window looking out on a small sort of alley. I would not reccomend it.

I had booked a single room and when I arrived got a 6 bunk dorm all to myself. Second night I got a double both at single price. I asked to book 2 extra nights and the girl in reception said OK and the following morning the reception person said i did not have a booking and I had to leave. Showers very small and dirty. Several stairs to climb to get to the place.

The location is very nice. You can reach the hostel with several buses and it is located in San Telmo only 4 blocks away from 9 de Julio. It is quite calm in the surrounding area so it is possible to sleep with the windows wide open. Inside the hostel it is quiet, too. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was very good and there is a terrace. Sometimes the three bathrooms are not enough and they are not cleaned every day. Nevertheless I recomend the hostel.

We booked and paid for a double with bathroom. There are no doubles with bathroom, so it felt like a con.
