Tanoy Guest House Reviews

Staff was very nice and helpful, just value for money not that much. I guess you pay for the location. If you want a place that's really near to the center, go for it. We found a place for the same price but way nicer, it was just further away from the center. But you can rent a bike for 10k kip a day if you want to avoid the 10min walk to the market/center.

Nice place. Room is spacious, clean and has a fridge which is a bonus, however wifi is very slow and is not even worth using.

The location was great - near the night market. The lady on reception was lovely and very helpful. The room was fine, but a bit overpriced for the basic-ness of it.

We were highly disappointed about Tanoy Guesthouse. We booked 5 nights, but left after one. There are a lot of cheaper guesthouses that are far better. Our Tanoy-room had a wall just outside the windows, the towels were dirty (stains and bad smell) and there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. Best thing was, that we could cancel our booking easily, they didn't care. The Guesthouse is overrated: For 28 Dollars for a double i expect much more, its not worth more than 10 Dollars a night......

I didn't even stay the night. I got there, looked at my bathroom-less, sheetless, wall stained, ripped screen room and left. I foundMUCH better accom. for a better price, with private shower and no mosquitos in the room.When I got there whoever greeted me didn't speak any english. I didget the sense they werent expecting me so early, so maybe they were just ill-prepared. I feel almost bad leaving this bad review because they seemed genuinely upset when I left.
