I have used many hostels throughout the world over a long period of my life and many with Hostelworld. I don't recommenend this one even though it is cheap for the area and the lady owner is very kind and pleasant in herself. It's poky, grubby and innefficiently run. I believe it to have bed-bugs and the beds are not cleaned correctly.I have used many hostels throughout the world over a long period of my life and many with Hostelworld. It is NOT a hostel it is a family house with a anoying 3 years old boy that screems at night he woke me up at 5am!
Beds were horrible, hot room, no lockers and located on the suburb of Taormina, considering that you can cross the whole town in 15 min and it take 25min to get from center to this hostel.
Don't stay there, the city is full of B&B and hotels that you can search when you arrive,it's a totally touristic city so you will spend a good money as a good normal tourist should do.

This hostel is really small, there are 3 dorms and only 3 small bathrooms for everybody ... there is no place to hang out, only a little patio at the front with 3 tables .... the rooms were ridiculously hot and stuffy. the owners had a weird habit of closing the windows in the afternoon even though there\\'s no rain, no fans and no air conditioning so when you get back in the evening, it feels like a sauna. it\\\'s also a considerable hike up the hill from the bus station (20-30mins) so take a cab if you have a lot of luggage. also, there is no breakfast or cookies. just coffee and tea. no internet facilities at all not even if you want to pay.the rooms were ridiculously hot and stuffy. the owners had a weird habit of closing the windows in the afternoon even though there\\'s no rain, no fans and no air conditioning so when you get back in the evening, it feels like a sauna. it\\\'s also a considerable hike up the hill from the bus station (20-30mins) so take a cab if you have a lot of luggage. also, there is no breakfast or cookies. just coffee and tea. no internet facilities at all not even if you want to pay....Close
