too small rooms with too many beds lead to unhealthy conditions lockers could be bigger

Great party hostal. The party usually starts around midnight and goes until 4 or 5am. The rooms are small and have no fan or ac and are very hot. Located 1 block from a nice beach. A bit of a walk to town.

The bottom beds were a bit uncomfortable as the top beds are too low and you don't even have the space to sit in your own bed. There was only one power socket in a 10-bed dorm. This is a party hostel, they played music at a high volume until late in the night. Other than this it was fine.

If there was an award for the worst hostel, this definitely wins the prize. When you arrive they use an unbelievable exchange rate, the rooms are very very small and there's no key for them, the restrooms always look dirty, the lockers are dirty and the lady who cleans always gets inside your room no asking before. The best is its location near everything you need in the city. I would definitely not come back ever.

The best location, close the bus station, the beach and nightlife in punta del este. The facilities are new and maintained

The location is really excellent. The staff, depending on the person, ranged from indifferent to good. Nice common rooms. The public computers were on the slow side and sometimes did not function. The breakfast was a real disaster - could you imagine ROTTEN FRUIT during summer in South America? And poor quality instant coffee to wash it down. The price is killing for the average experience, but after all it's Punta del Este, what could you expect? To summarize - I wouldn't stay here once again.

Very noisy, I guess you cannot expect differently from a party hostel. Nice staff.

Great Staff, Great Bar, Great Food. Best staff of any hostel I have been to. Pancho, Juan, and Pepe are awesome, I Had an amazing stay at Tas D VIaje Hostel and I would definitely return. Thanks for a great trip! -Wesley

Too expensive (U$45) for the night. Good location. Bedroom too noisy.

Up there with the best hostels i have stayed in South America, mostly due to the people who worked and stayed there, the location and the bar! Big thumbs up from me!

Awesome hostel in Punta Del Este. The bars in the backyard is awesome so is the bar staff (Pepe !!). As for location, it is right downtown and so close to Playa Del Brava (best beach). I highly recommend this hostel although prices can be expensive during high season...

I think they should improve the cleanliness of the toilets. The rest is good!

This hostel is rather a home away from home. The people who are working there making it to what it is. A place to relax, be comfortable, enjoy a siesta in a hammock, listening to greate music all day long and having homemade pizza made in the BBQ place in the garden. You feel welcome right in the moment you arrive. I hope a lot of travellers finding their way to here. Keep at it! Besito Selina

Great hostel! Has all you need and in an awesome location! Big, huge party on Christmas eve... not so much sleep for those wanting to go to bed before 6am :) Rooms are quite cramped but that's to be expected in hostels.. highly recommend.

It was sort of a slow time in Punta, but the hostel has a great bar in the back where people were always hanging out. The staff were so nice, the place had reliable wifi - perfect place for the price.

was there in the off season, so was a bit quite, also was in rooms which were not attached to the main building as it was raining got wet going between the buildings. Also seemedlike some of teh work on the sinks etc had yet to be finished. Good location tho, not far from the beach

Great hostel with a excellent location. A big beach house that´s very close to the beach, marina, Avenida Gorlero and the bus station. I really recommend the rooms upstairs with double bed. It's more expansive but worth it!
