The hostel is pretty alright for 1-2 nights, not the best, but not bad either. Location is EXCELLENT though, very near the beach, a street with many shops, restaurants and a few blocks from the supermarket! You get clean sheets, Wifi, computer access, kitchen is alright, there is a backyard with a bar, etc. Cleanliness could be improved though, there was mold in both the room and in the private bathroom. The room felt very humid, maybe due to the mold. Liked the rest of the hostel better

A very nice hostel, really close to the beach and all the shops. The facilities were good and the people were nice.

Very good hostel. Just the price of the towel rent that I found too expensive.

English: The hostel is very good, but there was no activity to bring guests. Otherwise, all very correct. Spanish: El hostel está muy bueno, pero no hubo ninguna actividad para unir a los húespedes. Por lo demás, muy correcto todo.

Honestly one of the best youthostel that I have visited. We were all of us during my stay like a family and that because of you. Your hostel is just awesome. And Thanks again for your amazing asado!!

Perfect location, central, close to the beaches, very nice atmosphere, great staff (except one...) If I'll be back I'll go there again for sure.

Nice hostel, very organised, with all facilities you would expect from it. The place is pretty nice with a bar with non-Brazilian music. We did not like their policy of not letting people bring alcohol into the hostel. They promised to arrange some breakfast for us before the normal times as we had to leave the hostel pretty early, but eventually there was no breakfast for us in the morning. Did not like the festival-style wristband they make you wear (which then leave you with a tanmark).

I had a great time staying there! The living room / common was very nice and the staff was very friendly, although there are some things that could be improved on; there was a lack of small and medium sized pots and pans and the bathrooms could be a bit cleaner, but otherwise it was a good stay!

I loved my two days in Tas D'Viaje Hostel. It was very good, I met really nice people, the staff is fun, my room was clean, the beer is more cheap than go to other bar.. but it has to be stupidly cold in the next time, ok, guys?

No space to dry clothes, swimming shorts and so on. Extremly noisy since the bar in the patio plays music until 4pm. Breakfast also could be organized way better. The price for a 12bed dorm is way too high.

I know it's a backpacker but for $160 a night for a double room. Old satiny fluffy sheet is not acceptable.

Beautiful place, comfortable beds, very well located, clean. But as I wouldn't recommend Punta del Este, this hostel could be better in a different city.

In terms of pluses the main one is location, close to the beaches, bars, restaurants and indeed the bus station. Only real annoyance is the breakfast could have been a bit better in terms of choice. There was only one 2 slice toaster for then hostel. Luckily we were there for Christmas when it was quiet, hate to think of the queues for the toaster when the hostel is full.

Only one block from the beach and shops. Pretty chilled out atmosphere, but i think it picks up throughout January

I only stayed 1 night and the staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, nice breakfast. I wish the staff would keep their overbearing music to themselves, most of us have our own players we listen to. I can''t understand why they feel they have to blow your ears off while we are trying to talk or have a peaceful breakfast. In a bar or club...loud music, but in common room...not so good. With earplugs, I enjoyed this hostel.

Fantastic hostel, the only negative is that they do not let you bring your own alcohol in. However they have a bar
