I really recommend the hostel! But if you prefer to sleep early, you shouldn't choose this hostel. Because there was party down stairs and music was so loud untill 1am. Except for that everything was great. Atmosphere was really good. Room was clean and classy. Staff was helpful and nice. There was a kitchen and also bar which you can drink something. The best part is that they serve really nice breakfast for free! I don't think the hostel is so far. Firenze is a small city. It is easy to walk.

Tasso has been my favourite hostel by far. The location is in a more relaxed, residential area full of the best restaurants and anything else you might need and the staff are amazing and full of knowledge about the area and can't do enough for you! (ask for Romina's alcoholic latte, you won't be disappointed). I met some great people here and wouldn't stay anywhere else if I was to return to Florence.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tasso in Florence! It was great to have a place tucked away in a neighborhood to go home to at night. The main lobby/lounge area was super comfortable and perfectly decorated. We especially enjoyed the company of Sarah, the pup!

Not much going on in this hostel. Good enough to sleep, but the common facilities seem otherwise always deserted. Lots of potential though. It provides breakfast, which is also good. I find it a pleasant, tranquil, nice placid hostel.

A nice hostel with friendly and helpful staff, walking distance to the centre of Florence but far enough away to be not too touristy an area.

Met some great people and had a really fun time. It was pretty quiet there until the weekend nights when people threw parties in the hostel bar.

It's a little out of the way but nice to be away from the touristy things in the city. Delicious breakfast. Wonderful staff. Fun atmosphere!

The hostel is a 15/20 minutes walk from the Railway Station or the city centre. The atmosphere is great: a former primary school converted into a hostel. At the ground floor, the school theatre often hosts parties and events with locals. Breakfast is also served there.

It was very difficult to find the hostel from the train station and we ended up taking a taxi, but it is very close to the river and a couple of restaurants. The staff wasn't very helpful in what that we could do and how to get around but they were very welcoming. The facility is very nice and the had a party the night we stayed. The bathroom and rooms are very clean and there is a common kitchen. I would recommend this hostel for people to stay in.

The staff at Tasso Hostel were really kind and friendly. I was greeted with an incredible welcome drink and Tasso Hostel hosts events frequently- there were Lindy hop & rock and roll parties when I was there, making it a really lively place at night. Not for light sleepers who want to sleep early as the music can be quite loud. Some ear plugs will do the trick. The rooms and toilets are clean. There are no bunk beds, facilitating interaction between guests.

It is a very nice place to stay! The living room is really nice, good music all the time... I'll be back soon!!

Loved this place! Can't say enough good things about it! The guys and lady that run the place are awesome! Federico and Lorenzo are so welcoming and as a solo traveller couldn't have felt more welcomed. I highly recommend this place.

I loved it here! The hostel was a short walk to everything. The rooms were spacious and clean. They have a great kitchen and plenty of places to sit and relax. Internet is strongest downstairs, which also facilitates human interaction. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

A great hostel, free breakfast is great, the location is a little far from the center, but the staff are really helpful. The guy who does breakfast makes great coffee which is very important. The rooms are nice, but could the lockers be slightly larger? I would definitely stay here again.

Really great hostel. The bar/living area is comfortable and welcoming, but unfortunately a little quiet while we were there. It's about a 15/20 minute walk into the city but it's a nice walk and not a bad way to see more of Florence lifestyle away from tge touristy stuff. Good beer, good coffee, good breakfast, nice rooms. Really good hostel.

Great place to stay in Florence, well located, beautiful common area, spacious room (we stayed in a 3 beds dorm with lockers and a lot of space to get organised) and big clean bathrooms where you can have some privacy! Free welcome drink, delicous breakfast, and staff friendly with a lot of advises about Florence sights and areas... The only bad point was that the parking(as per in facilities)is actually the street parking,so have in mind to spend €1.5 an hour...Other than that i definitly recommend.
