Refused entry. Imi asked for balance statement at atm, atm replied "invalid selection" as overseas machines often do, imi officer said "thats what i wanted to see, your going home", rather overzealous but at least he enjoys his job. Returned to Fiji where I was on holiday with my boyfriend, imi refused re-entry because i was refused entry to samoa, locked up with men for the night & sent back home. Horror story. Boyfriend very angry because his nephews are descendants of the king of samoa. SAD.

The location is good, a bit away from the bustle of Apia but only 2 mins walk from the food markets.

Although the motel itself is definitely not a five star resort, the people were absolutely lovely and really tried to make us feel welcome. The woman at the front desk was kind enough to put out a VERy early breakfast for us at about 5 am (although it is usually done at 8 am) because we told her we would be leaving early to catch a bus to the ferry. The affordable price and friendly staff made this stay worthwhile.
