It is located in the real city center of Adelaide, and close to shopping malls, city library, bars, tram and bus stations. The ground floor of the banckpackers is a bar with lots of slot machines. The first floor is for accomordation, not many gusts lived there when I was in, it has free laundry service, that's pretty cool! Clean and quiet.

I booked a private room for myself and when I arrived the room was not clean. The sink and the carpet had not been cleaned between (at least) the previous occupant and myself. I know it is a backpacker and not a hotel, but still I would have expected the room to be a bit cleaner than that...Also the bathrooms were not very clean.

Good location, toilet can be cleaner

Central, clean enough and cheap...

Nice staff and location...But dirty floors, rooms and kitchen, only one toilet, two dirty showers for the women but one of the doors was broken....Free breakfast is just a joke and made of 2 small piece of bread and a small pot of jam or vegemite in a plastic bag. Free coffee and tea don't exist...they only give you one dose of coffee and a tea bag...If you can't do things well and are too close from your money to offer a 2dollars pack of tea or a cheap box of coffee just don't pretend!!

This hostel was good. This is a good place to sleep, but that's about it. There is a bar/slot machine section on the very first floor if you are into that. Upstairs was clean, hot showers, nice tv in the kitchen. Best part: FREE LAUNDRY, WASH AND DRY!! Mingled with other people, not a bad stay. But the wifi is not so good, but there is a library close by w/good wifi. This isnt a hostel in which you hang out in all night though. Nice and simple.

The Hostel entrance is basically a Pokie machine centre with a small bar attached to the side of it and so it's not very welcoming on arrival. I actually walked past it until I asked someone where the entrance was. The rooms were not that clean and the communal areas were a little bit dirty. The showers are very small and the toilet is very dirty. If you are checking out for an early flight then you have to leave the hostel by 3am and the airport doesn't open until around 4:30.

This was an odd hostel. It's above a room full of pokie machines and there barely seemed like a single other person staying at the hostel. It was the only affordable double room we found in the city centre, which is why we took it. It's really old and not done up very much, but also it felt dirty, there wasn't any specifically unclean things we noticed. They did give free cereal in the morning. All together, good location but very basic and seems like it wouldn't be much fun by yourself.
