I'll start by saying that the family who owns and runs this place was very nice and very helpful when we arrived, in a jam. A jam, you ask? They never received my reservation that I made the day before on Hostelworld. Seems this has happened before to them, though never to me. It was high season and Santa Marta was jammed with people. They managed to find another (though pretty shabby) place for one night, before moving back to theirs for the 2nd and 3rd. For this reason, I'd stay there again
