I highly recommend it! A first class hostel and one of the best I stayed in so far! It has a lot of character, comfortable, clean, and it is very well located. The owner (Fillip) thought about every single details, it's amazing! Very easy to meet travellers. I had very good conversations with them and the staff :-) They are easy going and don't feel like they are working :-) A lot of excursions and activities offered. Special thanks to Maja for being bearing with my jokes & questions :-)

Clean, quiet pleasant place to stay for an evening. Friendly staff, nice facilities, relaxed atmosphere.

Phillip the owner is amazing!! He put up with my neverending questions about split. Gives great advice on where to eat, go partying and generally have a great time. Hostel was perfect. Just book it and I promise you wont regret it. Wish I had more time in Split. :-(

They really have thought what a traveller wants and needs in this hostel! Hostel is new, well equipped, clean and it even has curtains in front of every bed so you'll have your own privacy. Great and very heplfull staff! One of the best hostels where I've ever been. I recommend specially for those who are travelling alone and want to meet some nice travellers, like I did.

After a week on a boat, this was perfect. Great hostel to relax and unwind. Beds were huge, showers were hot and lounge area was cosy. They even provided massive lockers with your own key. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

My stay was amazing! I even went back after I traveled back to Split! The staff was hospitable and friendly and the hostel was really clean!

Really good hostel. The room are big, clean and well organized. Beds are really comfortable. The owner has thought really well on how a hostel should be and you can feel he really likes is job.

Super clean hostel! Great creak-free beds, equipped with curtains for privacy, light, power point and comfortable mattress. Very friendly and helpful staff, too. What more could you want?! Bit weird that you have to walk through the kitchen/hang out area to get to the ladies' loo/shower but still a great place to stay. Free espresso, too (yayyy!) although not before 9am (buuuu!).

I have been backpacking for 6 months now and stayed in a lot of hostels. This one beats them all! Outstanding service, fantastic beds (loved the curtains and cubbyholes for each bunk), very clean and small enough to get to know the other guests. I cannot rate this place high enough, just superb.

Took the overnight bus from Sarajevo and arrived in Split at 3:30 AM and couldn't check in at the hostel (which I didn't expect I could do) so I had to chill at the port until 8 AM. This was not a problem as it added to my adventurous trip and when I arrived at the hostel, the man who worked there was very apologetic but we both laughed in the end about what I did in the mean time. The hostel was very clean and the staff were superb and very helpful! I would definitely recommend this place!

Nice, modern little hostel just adjacent to the main tourist area of Split. It was very clean with great friendly staff. The were however only 2 showers for about 20 guests. Overall great place to stay

Staff was AMAZING, knew everything about the city and recommended the best restaurant [FIFE]. The hostel was nice, clean, and had the best atmosphere. I would love to go back!

Best Hostel I have ever stayed in. Very friendly staff, very clean and good rooms. I liked that every bed has a curtain to provide some privacy while sleeping.

The hostel owner, Phillip, is one of the hardest-working guys I've met - he makes every effort to keep the place clean and maintain a friendly, homey feel. The terrace is great for chatting with fellow travelers, and the privacy curtains on the dorm beds are a major plus ... Definitely highly recommend Tchaikovsky for anyone passing though Split!

Filip has thought of everything for the backpacker in this hostel, from the security of the lockers to the towel rails on them - a really great place to stay. He's also very helpful and keeps the hostel to a high standard.

Small, friendly, spotless, super-friendly staff, efficient, great location and secure... what more could you ask for? The best hostel I've stayed in so far.

Great hostel and probably the best hostel owner we have ever met. He was very friendly and also helped us with where to go in the city (in the day and night). Very relaxed hostel with free tea and coffee which it always good. Slightly small communal area and unfortunately there was only one shower for men so that could be tough. But all in all a great hostel and would thoroughly recommend anyone who wants to go to Split to visit. The three brown guys. x
