Off season- so was able to have a chat with owner/manager, certainly a thoughtful person. Enjoyed my stay in Split and this hostel- recommended!

Tchaikovsky was perfect! Felipe made us feel right at home, with plenty of suggestions on how to make the most of our time in Split -- even when the weather wasn't too great. Thanks again!

This is an awesome place to stay. The owner is absolutely lovely; the rooms are all spotless and spacious; and it has the nicest atmosphere about the place :) The only downsides I would say would be that there is no kitchen (only a microwave and a kettle) and it is a little bit of a walk from the bus/train/port - but nothing too extreme, only like 15 minutes. Definitely stay here if you're coming to Split!

Great location. Very safe. Freakishly clean. They literally won awards for cleanliness. Bed curtains were nice for privacy. Huge lockers. Nice balcony on the room. Big comfortable beds. Nice owner. Clean bathrooms. Great place all around.

I had a great time in Tchaikovsky Hostel. Thank you very much for Fillip's hospitality and nice wine on new year's eve :) There is almost nothing to complain - everything is clean and in order, and the hostel is very cozy to stay. Probably the best hostel in Split.

Great hostel, perfect location, really charming and cosy. Super clean throughout and rooms are spacious with everything you need, including TOWELS!!! Bed also very comfortable. Filip is a great host and running a fantastic little hostel in Split.
