The police raided the hostel on the second night, flipping on the lights, waking everyone up, taping doors, and making us leave the following day. The kitchen was dark, cramped, and dirty. The bathroom was decrepit (sink collapsing, only squat toilet), and dirty. Annoying A/C curfew.
Good hostel i suppose, aircon is good, location is not where hostelworld says it is on the map
I loved my stay at Tea Trip! I stayed for a whole month, and the staff was really kind and helpful.

It was not hard to find and right next to the metro and Hong Kong order. Those were the reasons I picked this hostel. However, the room was extremely messy and dirty but this place is really cheap so you get what you pay for.
Can't lock the door to the rooms! Location right next to the subway stop was great. Staff are ok, clearly not running the place long though and have A LOT to learn. atmosphere was dead when I was there, nobody but old people smoking in the common area, albeit looked nice wasn't great. may have been that day. Place was modestly clean, albeit a construction site at some places. value for money is good, considering the size of the room and bed and sofa! not much facilities, no computer ah well.
really mixed reviews for all hostels in Shenzhen. If your coming in from Hong Kong, get someone to write down the address in Chinese. This hostel is found if you use exit A from Hubei station. As you come up the escalators , bare right. The orange hotel will be on your right hand side. Walk around to the back of the hotel and the hostel enterance is on the opposite side. There is a poster for the hostel behind a little tall desk. The lift around the corner. Nice place. Lots of long term guests.
The hostel was clean, the staff was helpful, and the location was good. The hostel is a bit difficult to find at first. Luckily, I was traveling with Chinese friends, otherwise finding it may have been difficult. Being in the South, I'm used to being hot. That being said, the hostel was miserably hot during the night. I woke up drenched in sweat. Although A/C is available, it turns off at night, making the room, even with the windows open, quite miserable.
