Great, cheerful staff, convenient location in San Telmo, beautiful rooftop terrace. Free internet was very useful. Lots of information available about what to do in Buenos Aires. This hostel is housed in a beautiful colonial house with wonderful high ceilings and Gaudiesque doors. It is close to really nice restaurants on Chile and Defensa and the San Telmo neighbourhood is full of character. The staff were very nice and extremely helpful. A very nice and friendly hostel - we stayed there for 3 nights and liked it. Nice and helpful staff. Only criticism perhaps, shared bathroom private rooms are a bit small and you need to be a bit careful at night as the area is _great_ for visiting and partying but a tiny bit rough sometimes in the middle of the night. I would gladly stay at this hostel again, great staff who was really helpful, location that's close to Plaza de Mayo and Florida street, and a nice quiet place so you are able to sleep really well at night. Plus, the breakfast was awesome! Bread, cereal, fruit, juice, hot chocolate, and of course, dulce de leche :). This was an excellent hostel with friendly helpful staff. Nice surroundings and clean - good shower! While the location wasn't perfect it worked fine as a base to explore from.
