This is a great spot in San Telmo, BA. We were booked for 2 nights but stayed 5 because the hostel, it's location and staff were all fantastic. They will help organize tours including an Argentinian football match which we strongly recommend. The hostel is quite large but was quiet when we were there so there wasn't much atmosphere but had the place been full then no problem. 4 stars

Great rooftop terrace. Nice breakfast. Located in San Telmo, so you can get to a lot of interesting places very quickly. Apart from that an average hostel. Rooms are ok, baths a litlle bit small, but also manageable. It's a rather quiet hostel. If you travel alone you'd better choose another hostel where you can get to know people more easily.

Definitely one of the nicer spots in Buenos Aires. Rooms are around a courtyard that has a lot of character. Staff was friendly and helpful. Better breakfast choices than in other hostels. Has a nice terrace. Some blocks away from the main area of interest in San Telmo.

I was a repeat customer. First time had a 2 bed female dorm (exc idea) upstairs with window. This time I'm put in windowless prison cell that use to be the stairwell, with a bunk that was so unstable my roomate kept me awake for most nights she was there. Too much cigarette smoke, and too much heavy metal music which doesn`t do the atmosphere box much good. Suggest a good lounge area for tv, meet and greet. Breakfast still the best in BA and the building is a tourist attraction itself.

Sweet Hostel, Alejandro at the front desk was very helpful and the room was a good size. It was a quieter hostel, which is great if that's what you are looking for. The roof top terrace was lovely, good for a cold beer in the evening.

Nice location, and the building itself was really nice, but we slept in a room next to the dorms, and there it was very noisy. Bathrooms ok, and the roof-terrace was wonderful.

The hostel is in an old building which gives it some limitations, the primary one being that there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms, only fans, only a few rooms have windows opening to the outside, and it was very hot when we were there in summer. Also the ensuite bathrooms are a bit small and cramped. The beds were uncomfortable, but when we complained the staff were very helpful and moved us to another room that was better. Position is good, you can walk to attractions easily.

lots of character in building (rooms and roof terrace), friendly staff, decent breakfast, main common area is the upstairs terrace (could be tricky in bad weather), across the street from a decent market, very basic kitchen. walkable distance from the defensa street in san telmo.

matrasses should be improved, shared bathrooms could be cleaned more often... otherwise a very nice hostel

Location is ok.... not too far a walk from microcentre. I personally didn't really like the San Telmo area too much, I would stay in Palermo instead. Staff are friendly enough, rooms are very simple. The place has a bar but it doesn't seem to be used at all. Breakfast isn't bad- toast, cereal, pastries, fruit drink, coffee. The roof area is good for a couple of beers. 6/10.

A very nice house with atmosphere in the middle of San Telmo. Enjoyed the 4 days I stayed here. Especially the terrace is a hot deal. Sitting in the evening with a cold beer and chatting with other travellers. The rooms around the terrace are somehow better located - but very small and with a mini-window they get very hot. Matresses are a bit poor and the shared bathrooms not always clean - but no severe things to complain. In total a very good deal for location and atmosphere.

This is a great hostel for a trip to BA - easy to walk anywhere, the staff is so great, and the terrace is a great place to relax before heading back out to dinner.
