This hostel is located in a colonial building and the interior and common areas are beautiful, but the rooms are tiny, dark and dingy - very unfortunately - with no air conditioner and a stuffy smell. Our private twin room had a set of bunk beds, instead of 2 single beds, and not much space. Other rooms that I had a chance to glance into were no better. Staff however, were very nice and friendly and helped with airport taxis, etc. Good Argentine breakfast in a nice lounge.

Very nice hostel, has an excellent roof terrace and the staff were particularly nice. It has a traditional appearance inside and felt very secure.

I can't really say this strongly enough - do not, not, not stay here. I booked originally for four nights, but after the first night, I had to go somewhere else. Normally, I'm pretty easy but I drew the line at: finding three different types of hairs in my supposedly clean sheets, while being disgusted at the seriously grungy, leaking, and downright nasty bathrooms. Yuck. To be fair, one of their staff was super helpful, but couldn't save my impression of the place.

The hostel was very quiet and relaxing. Also, it's location is conveniently located near a lot of restaurants, shopping and great attractions of the city. The staff is really nice and helpful. Overall, it was a good stay.

Despite being assured that I would be given a quiet room,I was given a room overlooking the very busy street where sleep was impossible!!!?? This was awful after the long flight from Australia. About midnight I couldn{t take anymore and they shifted me to another room.THough it was much quieter, it had no window and was impossibly stuffy!! What a shame because the staff were so friendly! Nunca mas (never again!!!) Shane

Staff is very friendly and helpfull and the breakfast is one of the better ones around Argentina. Downside is there are no lockers in the room (at least not the one we had)

Very nice place, the breakfast is very good for the price. PCs were too old, but running. Flurorescent lighting at room 21 was noisy! Few blocks away from subway and San Telmo fair.

The hostel is located very well in San Telmo, close to the microcentre and close to the subte and colectivo. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hostel is clean and nice but if you want to meet fellow travelers and have party this is not the place to go.

Very creepy hostel. The staff wasn't helpful at all: rather we had the impression they were always making fun of guests and were not available for giving any kind of information (they barely said 'hello' when seeing you and when they did, it was like they were doing you a favour). They don't speak english. The structure could give much more if it was only well taken care of. The room was small, the walls were dirty, the furniture was old and the bathroom in need of a refurbishment.
