I really enjoyed my stay there and I would definitely go back! The staff was super friendly and very helpful at any times. The hostel is located in a quite area right around the corner of a Metro station, in addition bars, supermarkets and shops are super close. Everybody has their own locker under the bed, which is really convenient. All the facilities were clean when I used them. They have loads of space to meet people, including two bars and a pool. In general the atmosphere was super nice!
I really enjoyed my stay there. Staff is there so friendly and helpful. Location was very nice, nearby Metro and 20 min walk distance from park. Pool was nice and small yard next to it. Every one has locker under bed, which was so huge, that all my stuff fitted there. First I was little scared, coz prize was so much cheaper than any else (with me New Year eve time), but when I went there I saw immediately it was better than many expensive hostels.
Fabio, the owner, runs the place like a home where everyone is welcome. I felt very welcome since the moment he came to pick me up from the airport. Hostel has great facilities, beds with big lockers for your stuff and clean bathrooms/ showers. The place is full of graffiti/ art/ cartoon stuff etc. They have a pool and a bar and throw awesome parties and BBQ's. The metro station is really close by. Basic breakfast.
The staff is surprisingly helpful, all of them. The location is very good and there is a lot of things arround. The first night walking arround might seem a little bit odd but eventually you will find out there is nothing to worry. I would invest a little bit more in the bathrooms. Good value for money.

I loved the hostel! The only problem was the outdoor bathroom, because was cold, but was just for to the cheap bedroom... I recommend!
It was ok for a nights stay, easy to get to from the metro. Plenty of places to eat near by.
My first time in Brazil and Telstar my first Hostel. What a great find that lives up easily to the experience of others who have stayed there. It's kept very clean and has good facilities inc the pool outback in the yard and an open fire in the communal area on cold nights. Had some good party evenings and Fabio the Manager is a most congenial and helpful host. Made the begining of my brazilian holiday get off to a good start.

I have had a very good time in the hostel. Staff was helpful, the hostel was close to the Vila Mariana metro station, clean, good breakfast. I was stayed for few nights and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, because there were just a few guests.
Location is great, very clean place, breakfast is made to order, 24 hs staff, towel included also blankets, great showers,Fabio is a great host and help you with directions all around town, wifi very fast, great roomies.
Nice hostel! Centrally located, very helpful and friendly staff, spacious, good atmosphere. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Fabio was the coolest host I ever met, very friendly and helpful. By his suggestions we visited the most beautyful spots in Sao Paulo and had a rememorable trip.
This place is awesome! The staff treat you like they've known you for years, it has an in-house chef who cooks delicious gourmet dinners for 15 reais (about the same price as a meal at the cheaper local restaurants), the dorm is sound-proofed so it`s easy to sleep, and it`s two blocks from a metro stop. Breakfast is free and generous, internet is reliable.....excellent overall, especially considering the money you`re paying.

Good location, good breakfast, nice staff. Lockers under the bed to fit all of your stuff are handy and keep the room tidy. It was chilly when I was there but they were generous with blankets. Great wi-fi connection everywhere. The rooms need more electric plugs. A shower curtain can do wonders for the bathroom, so it's not always wet around. It's on a quiet street, no traffic. Apparently the hostel was pretty full but didn't feel any vibe and it actually seemed a little deserted..
Great location, safe place, nice people, felt like home. Great cultural environment too. They could work out the cleanliness a bit, and improve the kitchen. But it was acceptable.

The location is a pretty calm neighborhood but there is a metro station close, I recommend the hostel is calm in every way.
We had a great time. Staff was VERY helpful, the breakfast was simply the best I've ever got in a hostel and the lounge area was also great. However, the bathroom next to the pool was the FILTHIEST I've ever used. Even touching the tap was extremely disgusting. The room was OK, but not an example of cleaness either. Some blankets were stinking.
The operator Fabio was very helpful upon our arrival in suggesting excellent places to eat. The beds were comfy. It was easy to get to the hostel on the metro. The hostel also offers airport transfers, and once divided by the 3 of us was much cheaper than getting public transport
nice and relax place to stay, good beds, and no sounds
This hostel does all the basics right - good comfy beds, fresh linen and towels (plastic sealed), large individual lockers, high general security and helpful staff. The facilities are adequate but Unfortunately the kitchen was very basic and rarely cleaned. General cleanliness could be improved overall. Location isn't ideal but it provides a good base to travel from. It's on the blue metro line the same as the bus terminal so only one train to catch. 3.5 stars
Value for money is poor, but that is mainly a reflection on Sao Paulo in general. ALL accommodation is expensive, so relatively this place is pretty good.
