Good staff and nice location (close to a subway station)! The bar area is cold -especially when having breakfast in the morning. Also the place to store luggage seems not so secure.

We stayed in a 4 bed dorm with bathroom inside. It was good, warm snd clean. The staff was friendly, not very good english but helpful. Outside area seems nice but it was to cold to enjoy. We had trouble to find it as we had our address in English and the taxi drivers didn't understand. we call the hostel and explained to get some directions and couldn't understand them either we hang out frustrated and we received a chinese address message to our phone. GREAT!

Hostel stay was fine, though the tour booking price for the Great Wall needs to be reduced, for the service received it is simply far too much.

Relaxed atmosphere through its vibe and location in a quiet alley in the hutong area. If you don't wanna stay too much in the crowded and noisy parts of Beijing but looking for a calm place, this is a real nice option. Staying in a traditional accomodation like this, and the peaceful rooftop were certainly a plus. For us a minus was that is wasn't really a place to meet other backpackers.

We stayed for a night in a double and enjoyed the pittoresque feel of this small hostel. The staff speaks good English, the WiFi is alright, the room and shower were fine and it was nice to be able to sit in both the shade, in the sun on the roof terrace or in the little weatherproof room on the roof. The hostel feels a bit out of the way of interesting places, though there is enough exploring to do. The rooms could get a finishing touch by removing tape and covering electrical wiring.

A 24/H reception is very convenient, extremely well placed, though the Subway stops are a little far. Real Beijing Hutong atmosphere is a stroll away from the hostel. Well decorated and very calm.

I needed a hostel near Xidan so the location was perfect for me, besides it`s really close to Tiananmen, Beihai park and Wanfujin. The rooms are big, beds are comfortable, fine bathroom. There is a terrace, but it didn`t seem lively when I was there, besises if you want to have breakfast there you have to order one day in advance. Good value for money!

This place is more for the local chinese people, when i was there 80% was Chinese. The staff at the time coudnt speak english.. but the hostel it self is really special looks amazing, looks like a small Chinese garden.
