The location was ideal and the room was the nicest we've stayed in. Truly what I imagined a ryokan would be and worth paying the difference for.

The staff was not very welcoming nor helpful. The bathroom was not fully equipped and my sheets were bloody. I was not that impressed with the service.

Really hard to find but a sweet litle place. It underneath a covered walkway shopping centre at the end on the left. It has a tiny sign above the door in English. Nara is lovely and well worth a overnight stay
