Great location and amazing view over Rio from the hostel´s terrace! Place was clean and had good facilities, and the 2 person room with own balcony was really nice. Also the location near Lapa and Centro is practical, if you don´t mind a bit of excercise climbing up the steep winding alleys. Only small minus comes for the rather poor breakfast.

best view on rio from the hostels terrace! very good breakfest, really friendly and helpful staff. good location to go out eating or partying. also close to bus stops or metro stations to get to the beaches/ sugar loaf/ corcovado etc. prices weren't that good but we've been there "accidently" during the easter holidays... highly recommend it!

This hostel was excellent! It is located very close to Lapa, centrum and a metro! The rooms are very bright and spacious, and it has a great view from the rooftop terraces! The staff are very friendly and helpful!! The only thing that wasn't very good was the kitchen and the internet. But both still functioned, just not perfect!

Excellent atmosphere at this hostel in one of Rio's most charming neighborhoods. Up the hill from the Lapa nightlife. Note this place isn't walking distance from the beach. Clean and attractive. The bathroom was a little bit small and not well designed. The breakfast was good for the price although I wasn't as impressed as other guests. The staff were great. Overall I loved the place and will definitely stay there the next time I go to Rio.
