Very good hostel! Congrats to the staff!

Genial! Muy buen hostel.

They wouldn't let me in, when I finally got in it was dirty and no friendly staff.

Staff are great and location is good. Our dorm was in front and was a little noisy from the street. Big communal areas and newly-refurbished bathrooms. Lots of party people staying here who had little respect for others in the room; turning lights off and on, drunken stumbling around and speaking loudly. One guy even threw stuff around the room because people were snoring - then when he fell asleep he started snoring! Minus these people, the hostel was a great place.

Not the nicest hostel in Santiago but excellent value for money. a very good option if you just want a cheap place

The hostal is realy nice located and you probably meet nice people to party here. The beds where realy realy nice but when we wanted to take a shower it was so discusting. Maybe we got unlucky and they cleaned it shortly afterwards but we didn´t quite feel at home and didn´t want to stay indoor any longer than we had to. So if you are just looking for a cheap place to stay it´s a realy good choice. You get what you pay for!

rooms are nice and clean, really cool common area bathrooms are hard to move around in so taking a shower was a pain

Hostel Extremus was one of the bests atmosphere of hostels that i stayed while travelling in Chile. What I liked most is that have a very good mattres. Female bathroom really clean. Thats a bathroom just for shower separated of other just for toilets. What I think its good! Male though its all together. Theres a living room connected to main rooms what makes easy the interection. Down stair you have a foosbal table, kitchen and sofas . 2 blocks from Baquedano metro station at Plaza Italia.

It was a quite good atmosphere. Some guys were partying at night which was nice for me.
