Im not sure if it was because its low season, but as a girl travellin on my own i did not enjoy my stay here. it was full of old men and my room was very dingy and dark and the men slept during the day, so i felt uncomfortable going into the room. The place did not seem that clean and the computers were not good. I could not get wifi on my phone at all... The patio area is nice.

The hostel has a nice character and i loved the atmosphere and the staff was really great and helpful. During the evenings bands were playing at the hostel, creating an awesome atmosphere where people get to meet. Though the room was sometimes unlocked when you got back cause there is only one key to each room and it is up to the people living there to lock. Clean sheets, small nice breakfast and wifi close to the reception!

What an amazing hostel! Terranova is a cultural center more than simply a place to stay. The staff are so helpful with navigating the big city and answering all a travelers questions. The place is clean and the rooms are comfortable. There is always something going on, during my short stay I saw 3 live bands, danced till dawn on new years eve, ate a delicious asado and took a Tango lesson all without leaving the hostel! San Telmo is a great and centralized part of the city. Stay there!
