The common room is in front of the rooms so it can be noisy. The whole night: from ten till eight! From 7-8:30 two people yelling and slaming the doors and nobody of the staff warn them. Anyway, the staff was very kind in the other things.

Amazing hostel - great for social but still able to have a quiet night sleep if you want. Amazing rooftop views. Bathrooms were a bit unclean but no biggie, the hostel made up for it in all other ways!

Great hostel with cool staff and a very friendly atmosphere!

Good hostel in a central location with prized access to all subway lines. The view from the rooftop is absolutely fantastic and the tour prices and booking service give great deals at fantastic prices. The downside would be the bathrooms 3 times out of four there was no hot water. I stayed on level six, where the 'bar' prevents lodgers from bringing any alcohol in, there is also little kitchen to speak of - godown to the sister kitchen on level 1 if you are serious about preparing food.

I've never stayed at a hostel before so this is a sample of one, but I don't imagine there are many hostels in the world that are much better than Terrazas Estoril. The process of registering through hostelworld.com was efficient. The staff have been friendly and competent. While there is a young hipster vibe to the place, I found it quiet and comfortable. Central location, sublime rooftop setting, nice people, right price.

The best thing was the excellent staff and roof terrace. Warmer blankets in the beds needed and some beds makes to much noice (screws should be tightened or something) but all in all a great clean hostel :)

Really recommend this hostel. I previously stayed in millhouse but much preferred it here - it's a great mix of party and chill and the staff were so helpful!

Great hostel, highly recommended! Good location, very very helpful staff-nothing was a problem! Usual hostel breakfast, large pot of dulce de leche

Great place to stay with a friendly atmosphere and excellent facilities. The roof terrace and bar are extra special. Good location in town and right next to a subway stop, so ideal for exploring.

Location is great, staff very helpful. Definitely go for the Thursday asado night, great way to meet other people in the hostel and other floors of the building.

Not the most modern hostel but nice vibe and a great rooftop terrace. Nice community areas and good breakfast!

Good location near 9 De Julio, on the 6th floor in a very secure environment (personally lock the door after each person leaves/arrives). Small social area inside but large terrace. Beds were good and bathroom clean. Great WiFi. Breakfast is the usual bread, condiments, cafe and juice but from old plastic cups which really put me off.
