We had a very nice stay at Thaison Grand Hotel. Staff Members were very friendly, sometimes communication in English was kind of difficult but no misunderstandings occurred. First time South-East-Asia travellers have to consider that some rooms don't have windows. We booked a tour to Ha Long Bay from the hotel catalogue which we could unfortunately not recommend. Too expensive, tour with 18 people instead of the guaranteed only our group tour, the ship we drove with was in a bad condition.
