I had to pay extra for linens and wifi. The shower was not hot enough for winter. I was literally shivering when getting a bath. After showering, you need to walk across the yard to get to your room, it may be nice doing it in summer but it was winter when i stayed at this hostel. It was really inconvenient because everyone in the same room shared a key. However, they provided breakfast and the staff were quite helpful. I'd definitely stay again in this hostel when it's summer but not winter.

First of all, the staff is terrible. The french girls who work there are not polite at all. And just some of them are willing to help you with your doubts. They have an weird rule: you can't go inside your own room between 11am-16pm. So if you need to get something on your luggage (remembering that there's no locker) during this period, you talk with the Staff and they make a huge drama. Facilities are terrible! They probably never reinvested their income on it!

Good location, very nice free breakfast and cool staff. They have free blankets but you have to pay for sheets, which is stupid. The bathroom has no radiator and it`s outside the main buillding. It was awful to take a shower and cross the snow (-7 C) to go to the room.

The 3 Ducks was a charmin little hostel, not too far from a metro station and within walking distance from the Eiffel Tower. I felt my stuff was pretty secure and they have a safe if you want to put valuables in it. The staff was helpful and breakfast was given for free every morning.

Was nice staying there, atmosphere was nice, perfect location so i reccommend to somebody who visit the city for the first time. But rooms are very bad, smelly and generally uncomfortable. Toilets the same. But still-perfect for short visit, two three days.

I really enjoyed my stay at the 3 Ducks. I met so many great people there and had a really great time. I was not in the hostel a lot because I was out sight seeing but when I was back the staff were really nice and helpful and the friends I made there were amazing.

the bathroom was disgusting, the shower was a tube without regulation of the temperature! the organization is terrible, they sold the same bed to two diferent persons!!! the only thing that worth is the location, you can get the Eiffel Tower by walk! Ah, and the croissant is realy good!

This hostel is dirty, noisy and old, so bad as to make it interesting. It is how a hostel might have been in the 19th century with small well-worn smelly beds and a rickety old architecture. Bring ear plugs if you plan to go to bed before 2am since only glass separates your room from the courtyard where people chat away throughout the night. No security, so do not bring valuables. Sheets cost 3.5 Euros. Nice manager, unbeatable price and excellent location. Strangely, I would stay again.

I do agree when one stays in a hostel one can't expect too much - noise and drunk people are things to be considered as 'normal'. However, a place has at least to be clean. How is it possible a toilette doesn't have a sink to wash up your hands? What about the cold shower? I got a terrible cold in my short staying in 3 Ducks because of it. I have been in many hostels during my trips around the world and 3 Ducks Paris was the worst experience ever.

The hostel is actually very good nice staff, load of beautiful young women speaking fluently at least three languages which is perfect, indeed. The atmosphere enjoyable, the breakfast with the croissant is a hit I mean the kind of thing you desire so much you can't wait to be there, trust me. I trully enjoyed my stay at the hostel if there is something approaching the negative field should probably be, The Free Internet Computer Thing because some people stay more than the other, that's all.

Bottom line, Three Ducks, or as the sign is mislabeled "Ducks 3 Hostel" ranks as one of the worst hostels I've stayed in. The entire set up of the hostel leaves a lot to be desired, I don't know where my 28 euro went. The key system is very insufficient and insecure. There were two toilets and one shower for all of the dormitory style rooms, none of which were even close to clean. The rooms themselves were crowded and extremely grungy. Even the coffee was lukewarm at breakfast, come on.

When to the hostel it is great, you enter in a nice bar, I really liked it! But then you have to go to your bed room and when you leave the bar to go there it was frustrating, very old and poor structure to receive guests! But it was the cheaper option to be on in Paris! The Breakfast was great, good coffee, and the people were very friendly! You are basically obligated to pay or a sheet. In my room I heard that the floor once came down and the bathrooms was awfull, and also the showers!

the worst hostel in my life! all rooms are small and dirty, to go to bathroom or to take a shower you have to go to the patio at the center, showers are dirty, incredibly small, no hot water (only warm), and stupidly complicated to keep the water running for more than 3 seconds!!, handwashers are in the rooms instead in the bathrooms so even when the rooms are small, and almost no electric light, you see all you roommates shaving or brushing teeth and that is really disgusting!!! DONT GO HERE!!

Showers are outside and there is not room for dressing. Also the gay who is attending the bar, is so rude, there were some guys inside the hostel smoking weed and they weren't staying there, they were friends of the rude guy of the bar. So disgusting their attitude. You have to pay for towels and sheets. However the location was excellent.
