It is really close to the main train station and about 15-20 min walk to the main attractions. My only real complaint is that anyone can access the luggage storage room which doesn't seem very secure. That being said my luggage was fine.

the shower room was too small, and not have enough place to put my clothes. And it was still noisy at night after 10pm. but location and breakfast was very good. I think it is suitable for people who love bars. But not suitable for those who want to sleep early or need quiet.

Sabrina was wonderful, most of the other staff were rather unfriendly. Never felt like my belongings were secure, had to rent a lock to secure them. Bathrooms were disgusting. Breakfast was just okay compared to other equivalent accommodation in the area. Prices were high for services provided, mainly due to a special weekend.

Great location and facilities. Clean and comfortable. Lots of school and youth groups tho so doesn't really have that backpacker feel. Would stay here again tho!

Everything was perfect including breakfast. The only downside was that there was not enough powerpoints in the rooms...

Unless you like to drink/dance party until 2 am in the morning, this place is NOT for you. It is noisy without mercy. Room is small for 10 to12 beds, so the room smell badly. The saving grace is the free breakfast, which is good.

A mirror in the room would be useful (room 305). The rooms are exceptionally clean and functional, with comfortable beds. The hostel has a 24 hour reception and is in a prime city centre location.

Dorm rooms were very hot to sleep in at night, and if you left the window open you could hear everything from the bar/smoking area downstairs. Girls bathrooms weren't very clean, hair everywhere in the sinks and showers. Very noisy hostel, but convenient location next to the train station.

Good location, good breakfast. Noise and many amerikans. Was the only girl in the "mixed" dorm. The hostel cheked people inn to my dorm at the middle of the night wasent nice. Wasent a cosy place you don't feel like hanging around. You sleep, eat and leave until you come back to sleep...

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, internet is a bit slow and only works in the lobby. Excellent free breakfast! Very highly recommended!

Pro: impressive breakfast and clean facilities. Con: very noisy at weekends with drunken guests, difficult to get some sleep. My luggage was stolen from the secured store room; staff wasn't very willing to search for it or undertake any action to locate it. Every one can ask for the door key and enter this store room. After two days my luggage was found somewhere on the fifth floor, laptop was stolen; not such a nice experience in this hostel. Would think twice before coming here again.

Good location but overpriced and very noisy at night. Walls are paper thin, and they dont shut the patio attached to the bar until the middle of the night (2am on the friday night of our stay, 4am on the saturday). Stay elsewhere on the weekend if you want to get any sleep. Simple things would make the stay nicer, no mirrors in the dorm rooms make the bathrooms very busy in the mornings and the showers stalls are small so all your stuff gets wet including your towel.

Very nice staff, good breakfast, and literally a 2 min walk from the train station. Not very secure though, people were just bringing in guests and anyone. Also the street isnt the best but like i said close to station. Loud at night on the wknds, but it is a party-type hostel. Good value though, Munich hostels are very expensive, cheapest i could find for wknd prices.

It was an alright place to stay especially if you need it for a transfer from the train then it was well worth it cause it was walking distance away.

Really good hostel, the rooms were very nice. The bar was really good, happy hour was good, most economical beer in Munich! The showers and toilets were very clean and nice. Overall this hostel was very good.

I met great people and am so happy I stayed at this hostel...however, the bathrooms are disgusting and there was a crazy 40 year old that yelled and stared at people in their sleep.

a VERY good hostel. Breakfast is really good, you have big lockers under the beds and staff is kind and helpful. The downstairs bar is nice too. If I get back to Munich, I'd definitely go to the 4U again!
