Great location on the main street in Banff and the staff were incredibly friendly.

The curtains did not close, the lights did not work and when they did you could not turn them off. A funny damp smell pervaded the building.

We stayed in a private double room at the Driftwood motel. The room was great-- we each had a double bed in basically separate rooms and a bathroom with shower and bathtub. We also had access to all the features of the Ptarmigan hotel next door--good wi-fi, hot tub, complimentary shuttle passes, coupon book. And, it was only a block away from all the shops downtown.
