Hostel is in a very useful location on the same block as the bus station in La Paz. Doesnt have the same all party atmosphere as some of the other chain hostels in la paz but is a chilled out and friendly place. Beds are huge and comfortable, lockers provided in the rooms and the free pancake breakfast every morning is a massive bonus. The sky bar at the sister B & B down the street is a nice place to hang out with a great view over the city. Would definately recommend

The 2 people who checked me in were useless and more interested in chatting to their friends, I wanted to change straight away. The other staff were better and actually quite helpful. It says there are things to do each night, but no one actually seemed to be doing anything. The travelers when I was there were hard to chat to, very anti social and the hostel didn't care. When heading down the hill, turn right at the petrol station and the hostel is right along. Directions were rubbish too!

Decent hostel for the money but the terrace bar wasn't open when we were there. The description of the place on the web makes it sound really amazing but it wasn't that great.

Adventure Brew is a great place full of great people. Free beer is always a plus in my book, although the free pancakes always ends too early for me to get any. 10 am? We're backpackers, and we party! It should be pancakes until 12 noon! But still, ABH is a fun place to meet lots of cool people from all over the world. I wound up spending more time in the bar there than out and about in the La Paz nightlife. And Saya Beer... Yummmmm... Best beer I've had in South America.

Well this hostel is a thing on its own. It\'s important to know that it actually consists of 2 different locations - B&B and Hostel. The hostel part, where I stayed was a bit rough. It was more or less clean but it felt more like staying in a warehouse. Worst thing though was relying on the 7:30-10:00 pancake breakfast and finding everything gone already at 9:30. Helpful staff comment: \"Yeah, just go to the other hostel, we\'re not bringing any more over...\". Thanks for that.
