It is not an especially clean hostel but ot offers a lot of amenities, friendly and helpful staff. A good place, particularly if you like beer (I recommend the dark one).

The hostel was generally an ok choice and I don't have anything to complain about. However the staff at reception was incredibly slow (I tried to pay twice and was asked to return later) and didn't know how to deal with my hostelworld booking. Make sure you get your 10% discount when paying. I was almost charged the entire amount, had I not insisted that I had already paid a deposit through hostelworld!

A very over-priced hostel for what you get. The crappy cold pancake breakfast was simply depressing, staff were pretty frosty and the late check-in time extremely frustrating when you've just arrived on a night bus. The free beer at night maybe a nice touch, and the bar is friendly and a good place to meet people, but it doesn't quite make up for the fact that you're staying in what feels like a sixth form centre from the late 90s, complete with Oasis on the stereo.

This place has two buildings, one called hostel and one called B

Hostel was fine, lovation was fine.. But we Think the staff was a little bit bad, we could not have breakfast the first day we arrived, even though the knew that we were not abel to have breakfast the day we were leaving.. And the room we booked was not free, so we got a poor room..

The hostel part is nice, clean and has a bar/restaurant, pooltable and pingpongtable. The staff is friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is nice but after more then 2 days you might like another breakfast. Showers are ok. Only thing disappointing was the kitchen. They say fully equiped kitchen, there are 2 pots, some mugs, 3 forks and no knives. And the kitchen is at the B

Great character, Simple pancake breakfast, No simple TV room, Would stay again...

PROS: Close to bus station and only 15 minute walk into centre. Quiet hostel and comfy beds. CONS: Average atmosphere

The hostel is located in a main street, it is close to de bus station but noise due to close and caotic traffic. The hostel offers only cold pancakes with butter and jam, coffee or tea. The staff was confused with our reservation and almost charge us for a wrong and expensiver amount.

The location is great as it is located 5 walking minutes from the terminal. You can walk to the city center as well. Our shower curtain was a little bit short and the bathroom had a slight smell. But otherwise it's a nice and good hostel.

Nice and close to the bus terminal, a bit of a walk to town. Nice friendly atmosphere, but isn't a big party hostel (which was good for me). Skybar is really cool and staff really helpful. 4 bed dorm was good.

my friend and i were super sick when we arrived and got a double room, comfortable beds and doonas, great food and facilities, perhaps just a quiet time but hardly anyone around!

Really liked the sky bar and free beer. We got overcharged initially for both our laundry and our room and it took quite a while to get it sorted out. There was no apology for this from the staff either. Pancakes for breakfast were good but not a big fan of microwaving our coffee to make it warm and it would be nice to have the option of some fruit or juice or something a bit healthier too.

Best hostel i stayed in so far after a month and a half in south america

Comfortable beds, pancake breakfast was nice, guy on the front desk was very helpful. Not a great location

The room we had was very moist and moldy in the bathroom. The floor was dirty and there was left over food and clothes in our room from someone before. The food was dependable at the restuarunts though and the travel agency at the main building is convenient.

Staff were friendly and helpful, location great as right next to bus terminal but ensuite bathroom was dirty and smelly.

Great stay! The building, furniture, facilities in general are great! You still get some party time at the pubish bars, but you avoid the Loki or Wildrover american-gringo-party hard style. The firstimpression you'll think it's on a bad location (very busy street), but as soon as you get in you'll start loving it. Had a great time over there! Totally recommend it.

A perfectly pleasant place to stay, but there are far better hostels with a better lay out, warmer staff and a friendlier atmosphere...La Paz is an amazing city, but the hostel experience could have been better.
