This is the worst hostel I have ever seen. That's it. That's all there is to say.

I got a great price for this place, which is why I went. The majority of the staff , from the front desk to housekeeping, were lovely. However, here's somethings to note: my room had a bed big enough that you couldn't walk easily. The window AC was in and created a draft, which was needed because the radiators (which only turned on at night) were hard to control, to the point where I ended up turning on the AC to balance the heat. And the fridge froze everything. Not a great experience.

Hotel is very old, floors creak but the rooms are clean. Most of the staff are great, especially Hunter, who will give you a orientation on the building, neighborhood and various stores in the area. It is located in George Washington University area. Breakfast is not that fantastic just bread you can toast with various spreads and coffee The Bathrooms are shared but you have privacy. It is a few blocks to metro orange/blue line takes you to capitol and various government sites. Area is safe.

Probably one of the best deals around, though the place needs some sprucing up. Definitely gets the job done!

It would be a good idea to renovate the exterior and interior of the building, install new heaters and new beds. Nearly everything looked old, rusty and neglected

It has the basics. Hot water, clean quits, wifi at the lobby. But a girl in my room had to check out only after one day because she could not breathe in the room. People at the front desk are not so friendly. They could not find my record when I checked out. I had to show my receipt. And they did ask me for another deposit fee. Great location. Close to the metro. If you come from the airport in Crystal City, only a few stops on the blue line. Close to Whole Foods, George Town.

You get what you pay for... Staff was rude, place was dirty, and the building looked like it might come down at any moment.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. I have never before in my life been treated with such utter disrespect and hostility by staff. When trying to check in, I was told I didn't have a reservation, (even though I had a confirmation email) was then told that even though we had booked for a 4 bed female dorm, that she could and would just place us anywhere they could find a bed. DO NOT STAY HERE, WORST HOSTEL EVER. STAFF ARE DISRESPECTFUL, HATEFUL AND DISCRIMINATORY

Great location. Breakfast could be more varied. Staff could be more helpful. Heating in room overbearing.
