The hostel didn´t have the same name and it was difficult to find it because nobody knew the hostel... We asked about spend one night more but it was full then Lynne (the responsible of the hostel) called to another place called "The Liverpool Lodge" it was awful, more expensive (25 pounds) and the bedroom was really dirty, the staff very unkind and after all they didn´t refund as the money...The bed was so dirty that we had to sleep in our sleeping bag...very bad experience in that hostel!!

the owner was a little bit odd... but nice. the hostel is in the North of Liverpool, so it's a little bit far from the centre of the city, but there is many buses.

Enjoyed staying at this hostel as was like a home away from home. Great value for money and friendly atmosphere. Only downer was the lack of lockers to keep valuables in. Would definately stay again.

The staff welcomed us at the Epstein guest house, good mates, the man was watching the FA Cup final and let us watch it there our room,at 86 Anfield Road had 4 beds, they were the only clean stuff in the room, though the mattresses were very squeaky truth to be told the wooden floor was filthy and the bathroom wasn\\\'t that good either. +the closest hostel to the Anfield Stadium you can find +very cheap -cleanliness -/+buses are never on time, but you can get to the city center by taxi with 5-6 pounds

The beds were awful, squeeky and only consisting of the spirals. The shower was clean but clogged, if i took a shower i had to stop half way down to let the water down the drain. Location okay, but route discription on the site is Poor!

The beds were the worst part. The beds had very little cushioning and could feel the springs. The barroom is shared with around 20 people. The only bad part was the manager told the lot of us to go to bed at midnight. He wanted us to be asleep and came up to the room and said it was time for bed.

Is 5km from city centre but 5 min walk from Anfield Stadium. Kind of hard to find but and excellent place to stay. Met nice people and a great place to stay.

The room wasn't cleaned, the location is poor because it is far away from the city centre, and the staff wasn't kind, in fact, we nearly couldn't do the chek in because the man was leaving when we arrived.

The hostel was very nice and was a decent price. I stayed in a six person dorm room (two double beds and a bunk bed) that was equipped with a sink and mirror. The beds were overall comfortable except for the pillows. The location is very convenient if you are staying at the hostel to go to a Liverpool Football game, the stadium is a couple minute walk down the street, but otherwise is difficult to get to and from via public transportation. Overall good hostel for its price.

The place was nice with a comfy bed. The shower drain was blocked though and we had trouble with the front door key not working and there was nowhere to lock up bags during the day other than in a room I was sharing with strangers. The location was great if you were there for the football, otherwise it was a bit of a journey into the city centre.

If you are in Liverpool for a football match, this is the place to stay. It's literally 5 minutes from Anfield, thus close to Goodison too. You have to check in at a different place, not far at all, and the lady was nice. It was so cheap to stay, I opted for paying both nights and left after one. Showers look brand new :) but be warned, chose your bed wisely. I didn't and got the most bed ever, creaked so bad and springs jammed into me, I didn't move all night. It's loud too, after a game, duh!

We got upgraded to the hotel and it was awesome, the owner is really nice. Bit out of the city centre but there's a bus stop near by.

The staff was very rude. 1. I reach here about 8:30pm with heavy raining, he was ask for cash only he said: no cash no deposit no check in! there is no ATM at that area. 2.He took all of my Scotland cash for payment and deposit. I told him I need that Scotland cash back for my travel collection, and he guarantee to exchange my Scotland cash but he is not. He has given that to other passenger. 3.he didn’t follow the my booking list, he just put me in 6 person room, it was so terrible.
