Location was excellent. Price a little expensive for what you got but there is not a lot of choice for hostel accommodation so that's understandable. Bathrooms were very poor and shower flooded into main room, there was also large amounts of mould due to poor ventilation. Staff were not really present a lot so it was difficult to get assistance.

Would've been nice if the female staff members could've given some help, ie telling me before 11 am that to get to the ski fields I had to leave by 6am, instead of spending their time drinking and hooking up with the guests, jimmy was helpful though. No wifi.

Very friendly, relaxed and helpful staff. Nice hostel. We had our own room plus ensuite. Great location and of course, the area is simply stunning. Only suggestion would be to supply a bath mat, as the shower tended to splash over onto the bathroom floor even though we were trying to be very careful. It was a bit of a problem as we didn't want to mop it up with the small bath towels provided. But other than that, we'd recommend this hostel.

Not sure what other places charge in this region but we felt we paid way too much for what we got. Rooms were ok but very basic, no soap in the bathroom. No heating even though it was rather cold while we were there. We didn't see evidence of any of the facilities advertised. E.g bar with various flavours of schnapps, spa, tea and coffee facilities. The 'Austrian breakfast' was a little lacking unless you call toast and cereal Austrian. Not the best hospitality I've experienced.Would not return.

Absolutely loved it. Niederau is a great little place and the owner and his assistant were friendly, helpful and great company. Comfy beds, cosy house, close to restaurants and the Spar. Can't wait to visit again and would definitely recommend!

Jimmy and Mel are amazing hosts! Plenty to do and see as well as relax and unwind. Withing walking distance to town and the bus stop. Felt like a home away from home. Will definitely return one day!

Awesome place to chill and so many activities to do! It's expensive but it's the alps so it's standard. Def stay 4 nights!

Massively cute -- really close to one of the lifts so you can head up into the mountains. Not in the biggest town but there's a supermarket where you can get whatever you need. No kitchen unfortunately, but lots of well-priced restaurants around in the hotels nearby. I would definitely recommend it!

Basic but cosy. Very quiet and nice little balconies with a view.

This was the most expensive and worst stay of my trip. Two slices of bread and stale cereal for 28€ a night, breakfast included?? I've paid much less and stayed at much better places. Absolutely not worth it, I felt ripped off. Also, don't buy dinner at the hostel, they are just taking advantage and making more money off you and feeding you cheap food. Seriously not worth going to.
