Nice Hostel overall, with the addition of a free breakfast and towels, Hard to locate the owner sometimes, but they are pleasant and helpful though. Nice common room/sitting room with television and a good selection of books and magazines, along with handy location right across from Ti Joe Watty's bar.

This is by no means a luxury hostel, but the couple who own/run it are really lovely and very hospitable. They immediately offered me a cup of tea as soon as I walked in the door. Just FYI, it's not really a hostel, it's essentially a couple of bunk beds in the spare room of their house, but you get privacy and it's located very close to the harbor village. Extremely overpriced for what you get, but it's cheaper than the B&Bs on the island and good for just a night's sleep.

Sadly- despite booking with hostel world and having a confirmation email and deposit paid- the hostel were not expecting us. The staff did their best - but were looking tired, seemed away with the birds and the hostel had a distinct smell of cigarettes weaving its way around. We wonder if this hostel are tuned into internet bookings as this may have happened other guests before - we paid our 10% deposit but were unable to stay as the hostel was full!

Cosy place. Located in an old house and slightly falling apart. Secure, easy to find and friendly staff.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay!!! The staff is wonderful and does everything to make you feel at home! The hostel is situated in a quiet corner of the village but close to the shop. There is a nice kitchen and a very cosy living room with open fire!!! Just a little tip for those whose stay at the hostel is not in the summer: bring an extra jumper since the heater in the bedroom is not very powerful...but you can warm up in the living room!! I recommend this hostel and would come back any time!

Great hostel, very nice people. Friendly, I loved it! Only one thing: Should give a phone number, preferably a mobile to be contacted. The hostel is in a Island, It dosen't feel very safe not to be able to have any confirmation. Write everywhere that we can not contact them by e-mail but not that we are welcome to leave a voice mail. Note: When I did left a voicemail, they answered very quickely, the owners are great and professional, but we can't know that before to have spend the night.

Perfect location-literally just around the corner from the local pub/food/music place;-) and on the way to the main attractions of the island. Owner super nice and friendly-got breakfast for free (doesn't havven often in hostels).
