Great hostel experience. I look forward to going back to Odessa and will likely look to stay here again. Staff was very cool and chill. Four person room was large, clean, and very well decorated. Other guests were great, and overall the experience was better than any I've had previously at a hostel.

Vry nice place to stay in Odessa. Walking distance from railway station was a great plus. Walking to the downtown area is also possible. Freindly staff.

Really great building and staff. Family atmosphere. Fantastic location. Literally surrounded by amazing bars, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. I loved my stay.

The initial approach isn't so promising, as you navigate through construction and a well worn stair well - but once inside the hostel you are in an expansive old Odessa flat full of character. The hostel is also really nicely located, especially if you are arriving and/or leaving by train. The only odd thing was feeling like you were crashing in the staff's private apartment at times; they just sort of slept wherever there was an empty bed. But a good base for exploring Odessa.

My favorite hostel in Odessa: large enough that you can meet people to go out with, but small enough that it retains the homey charm. The staff is friendly, eager to please, and good for a conversation or ten. Located near the train station, it makes arriving and leaving, the most stressful parts of travelling to a new city, a breeze.

This hostel is really good, the space is huge, the interior is very beautiful - certainly the most beautiful hostel I've ever seen. The staff is really nice and funny. I would definitely recommand this hostel!

Great Hostel, the rooms are not overly cramped, there is a giant common room so you don't have to feel constantly on top of one another. Some of the staff live there, which creates an interesting community feel. In the off-season it was fantastically chill with plenty of room, in the summer I am not sure if that would be as true.

Wonderful Hostel! It's located right near the train station and walking distance to anything worthwhile in the city. Clean, super friendly/helpful staff, beautiful interior. Best hostel I've stayed in so far this trip.

The staff is really friendly and helpfull (and quite funny too). It's a warm place, cosy. I booked just one night first because I didn't know if I wanted to stay long or not in Odessa, but when I arrived in the hostel with their warm welcome, I felt like I might stay longer. And I staied few days more. My best time ever in Ukraine. The place is clean. Seriously, if you go to Odessa, go to the Babushka. :)

The double private was really nice with an awesome big bed, although it would have been nice with a key to the room for better security. The main door to the street with the camera and buzzer system didn't do very much either in way of security when the door was left open most of the time. The staff was very nice and helpful! We took the cave tour through the hostel, and it is very much recommended!

The staff here was simply awesome. They were super knowledgeable and always eager to give advice on things to do or places to go in the city. They are clearly passionate about their work and extremely dedicated to their guests! :)
