The hostel is located in a seedy end of town, be sure to park IN FRONT of the hostel, not on side street. I was harassed by my car. The building seems to be a converted warehouse, the rooms small and basic, the walls separating the bedroom from the toilet do not go all of the way to the ceiling. Walls are paper thin, we were not staying anywhere near the common room but still heard the TV clearly at night. The walls shudder and shake all night long, rooms are hot, opening the window didn't help.

Great place to meet young people from all over the world, especially Africa. Met the owners, who are very friendly and hands on - it is a family run business. The staff are also very pleasant and go out of their way to help. It is close enough to all the main attractions while still part of an old, established community. Quite an unexpected find! Will definitely go back if the opportunity presents itself.

The hostel is very nice. Bus stop for new bus service just across the road, train station a few hundred metres away. The dorm rooms accommodate only 4 people & it has its own toilet & shower. The rooms are clean & beds are comfortable. It is a student residence, so its great for young people - nice & vibey. The kitchens are fully equiped (lots of facilities) - so you can cook your own meals, which makes it very economical. Big screen TVs with all satelite channels, decent free internet, etc.
