Situated right beside the National Park, Bard\'s Den is a perfect place for hikers of all shapes and sizes. The fact that it\'s both a hostel and a bar doesnt work in its favour though. Trying to find a receptionist to pay for the room get some info or resolve an issue (booked a 6 bed dorm there were 8 ppl there) borders on a miracle. Had a great time at The Bards Den! Very clean and comortable beds, spacious rooms with all you need. Right in the centre of Letterfrack. Only 5 minutes walk to the park entrance. No doubt, would definitively recommend it!

Our en suite bath was only icky when the guys were done with it, but the staff did fantastic work cleaning up after the mess. No locks on lots of doors, but the doors had just been replaced and had no numbers yet either. Even without going to the village pubs it was quite a sociable place.
