It's in a safe neighbourhood, but relatively far from all the sights. The hostel is also a home (of the owners) so at times we felt like we were infringing on their privacy and overstaying our welcome. Also they have a beautiful kitchen, but you're not allowed to use it since it's theirs (this is the first hostel I've ever encountered where you can't cook). The owners also weren't very outgoing or helpful, though they were nice. Clean place & awesome decor/artwork, 2 adorable dalmations. Quiet.

Not a place for backpackers. Friendly owners, Kim and Frankie. It's like staying in their house, and you always feel a bit like you are intruding. Nice gardens, and clean basic rooms. Toilets and shower nice and clean. Bad location, far from everything, but maybe its like that with everything in Jo'burg. If you have your own car it's better.
