If you are visiting Jamaica for its beautiful beaches, night live in this case Montego Bay then this hostel is not your place is out of everything nothing but nothing is near this place,if you deside to stay here be prepare to be at the mercy of Jamaican scamers taxi drivers that as soon they know you are not Jamaican they will charge you double even triple and in this hostel no way you gonna get by without getting a taxi unless you want to walk 20 minutes to the highway for another taxi to reach

Amazing place! It serves every body, adventure seekers, scenery lovers and even the couch potatoes.

I stayed at another hostel just up the road from the Nest and I am so happy I switched. The guys, Alex and Julia, are super nice and helpful and took us to their private beach, its awesome there. A pool right next to the beach and we had a bbq at night, it was just perfect. There are quiet a few options for tours at a decent rate, Glistening Waters is absolutely recommended! All in all great vibes. People say its far from the supermarket, but we stopped there on the way to the beach or after!

The building was nice and had a lovely pool. The neighborhood was safe and 15 minutes by foot to some stores. The kitchen was gross. There are bugs everywhere and it is brutally hot. No screens or glass. Julia was very nice but there usually isn't anyone there to check you in and there are no signs, maps, or info. Have to taxi to the beach.

Pros: friendly staff, nice/safe neighborhood, nice pool, access to private beach Cons: located in suburban neighborhood far from everything, you need to take a car or taxi to get anywhere (including the "private beach" which is 15+ min drive.. Even "downtown" is 20-30 min away. car trips by staff felt like an inconvenience rather than a service, and the "ill take you there but you have to find your way back" attitude reinforced that. Regardless, found nothing interesting in Montego Bay, skip it

Decent hostel with a great pool, and use of a private beach... Friendly staff who ferry you around to make up for being slightly out of town.

The stay at a hostel was much better than expected. Everyone was very friendly which made us feel more like home and rather sad leaving not just Jamaica behind, but all the people too. It is in a good location, in a safe neighbor, you can walk to the beach if you fancy 30 min walk, but they take you there by car every morning and pick you up in the afternoon. The private beach left me the best impression as seeing for the first time made me rather speechless. This hostel is a great choice!
