The Breakfast was just average. And it was annoying that it was 'included', suggesting that 40q of each person in the room was paying for the breakfast in the room rate, even though it was 'included'. If you went on a hike, or left for the airport before 8am, you got no breakfast. The rooms were fine. I mean, you get what you pay for. The location and staff, however, were great. A block from the main plaza, and the staff was super helpful with every request I had.

The front desk person was not as nice as she could have been. They never cleaned or even took the used toilet paper out of the waste basket in the bathroom. Coffee, filling a water bottle and even a small packet of jelly cost extra. They should have charged a little more instead of asking for a few bucks for every little thing. The water did not go down the drain and just sat in the shower creating an even dirtier wetter bathroom than it already was. The bathroom smelled of sweat and dirty laund

The staff at the hostel seemed very concerned with money and did not create a fun ambience. The terrace and breakfast were very nice, but the shower was very dirty and took a long time to get hot. Also, the bus ticket that I arranged through the hostel was a huge ripoff. Also, the staff were not very knowledgable about different destinations in Guatemala. Overall, it was ok but there seemed to be better options in Antigua.

The breakfasts are great, staff super friendly and helpful and the hostel is really centrally located. Issues to address is the toilet door in the dorm does not shut, not even close, I did mention this not nothing was done. Also price of dorm was expensive during Xmas break compared to other dorms. I had to change hostel during my stay and got a nicer hostel for less money.

Beds were a little uncomfortable in the dorm, if you can get a wooden one that's fine but the metal ones sag and sqeak every time you move the slightest. Loved the staff, they remember our name, breakfast is free and you can order off a menu. Internet wifi sometimes didnt work. Overall a gret place, great location. The bagel place across the street is amazing also!
