There we only 3 toilets/bathrooms combinations for all the rooms upstairs (probably around 25 persons), so in the morning there was sometimes a queue for the toilet. The hostel is in the middle of the city and has a guard at night, so it felt very secure.

There are a few things that I look for in a good hostel and black cat has all of them. First of all, the hostel is kept spotless which is the mark of good spot! There is a nice courtyard area and the hostel itself is in a pretty cool building. The staff are great - thanks to friendly Ian and Rosie! I also think a good hostel will offer you a city map upon arrival and thanks to black cat for the map. The location is very central and close to good cafes, places to eat, bars, etc. A good spot.

We turned up to find they'd cancelled our booking. The duty manager didn't care and wasn't helpful at all. Not ideal after a long day travelling there, especially as we had a very early start the next morning.

Hot showers, MASSIVE breakfast (free), good ambience, clean rooms, very close to Parque Central. Free WIFI / Internet. Bar. MUY BIEN! GRACIAS!
