By a mile the best hostel ive ever stayed at. The place is done up to a very high standard, lovely furnishings, immaculate bathrooms and very cool atmosphere. Like a large home really. not a party hostel. People staying there are respectful of noise etc. Owner is very helpful too. Location great: 10 min easy walk to bus station and couldnt be more in the heart of the old town on a street filled with restaurants and cafes. Free use of washing machine too! Great value for money also

One of the best Hostel stays ever!!! You feel at home not at a hostel. Very clean, excellent location. Very helpful and friendly staff. They even let you do free laundry!!!

Best. Hostel. Ever.

A great value for money, a very large and comfy room. The only thing I didn't like about the room was that the shower room was really small. There were also some bars nearby and we could hear the music in the middle of the night. Otherwise everything was great, I will definitely come back again. There wasn't breakfast in the morning, but we could have free coffee and tea and that was really nice. We also got the map of Riga and some very good tips about places to visit.

It was a cool experience. We booked a double bed room right under the roof and had a very nice time. The view is awesome, the staff is friendly and helpful, the room is cozy. Good choice for its money.

Considering there is no faults at all, I'll list the positives... They have free: towels, WASHING, printing, cable tv. An honesty system for the drinks. Impressive. The place is the cleanest I've ever stayed at, The whole place uses smart cards for enterance - a nice touch. The bedding is extremely comfortable, the showers are great, location ideal.

It's an incredible place. The atmosphere is great, the rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean and the personal (Marika) is both friendly and well prepared for any kind of questions regarding touristic advice. The only problem we perceived is that the number of toilets and showers is a little bit reduced.

Almost perfect hostel. Good beds, very clean, free internet available. Hostel can feel like home. Don't stay too short here and in Riga. Riga and surroundings have a lot to offer.

The perfect hostel for travellers who actually want to see the world besides beers and pubs. Its rather small, in a beautiful flat. Very nice house keeper with good tips for stuff to see. Would come again.

An excellent hostel, the owner of the Naughty Squirell Hostel (Riga) has out done himself with this Hostel which is the best I have ever stayed at. Good if your not in the party hard / booze cruzin' mood, can relax well in this place, unwind and continue to meet and socialize with others)

One of the best hostels I have every stayed in (out of around twenty five!)! The hostel is located on the 3rd floor of a building in the Old Town area. The hostel is like a private apartment with only a couple rooms with beds. The common area is very modern and cozy. The place is exceptionally clean. The security is very good. Marika, the hostel host, was very friendly and was accommodating to allow me to keep my heavy backpack in the hostel after the checkout time as I left Riga late.

Clean, cozy and comfortable place to stay. Strongly recommended. Also, special credit to the Marika whose ever cheerfulness and willingness to help creates a homely feeling.

This was one of the finest hostels which made me realize how much choosing the right place can impact your entire trip . Upon checkin in, Marika, who runs this place, took out a map, and started marking down the good places to dine, hang out, and touristic places I may want to avoid. Moreover, while resided on the quieter part of the old town, this hostel can assist you to participate in various activities such as pub crawl, free walking tour, AK-48 shooting et cetera.

The nicest hostel we have ever stayed in. like a luxury apartment rather than a hostel. Nice and quiet, with a sister hostel which we used for a great pub crawl. Would highly recommend to anyone
