This hostel is a joke! Really dirty, none of the staff speak any English or at least try and be helpful. People were running riot round the corridors until 6am, smashing glass throwing tables (I woke up one night thinking something really bad was happening downstairs in the lobby n was scared for my safety but was jus drunk idiots being aloud to smash things about and scream n shout).

Good value for money hostel located in the Old Quarter within easy walking distance of many shops, markets, bars and restaurants.

You pay for what you get but the bathroom were so dirty. We had to share the bedroom with one of the staff who had clearly established himself where clothes were hanging everywhere...and it smelt smoke so bad . The bedroom had no window and the hotel is in a back alley. no even mentionning the breakfast that was so fealthy...just dont even enter the kitchen ...and to make everything perfect the staff who appeared very kind sold us lies about Halong Bay with a tour full of promises

Location was kinda local and good access to the central. But there was a reason why i changed the hostel. I emailed them to change the date of arrival, but they hadnt replay me. It seemed like they didn't know about my email when i get there and I was not sure if the receptionist understood what I said. I felt like I was dealt with somebody just jumped in. And the room, 4 bed room, trash was scattered and just one blanket. It seemed like they haven cleaned the room so long.

The best of this hostel is, without a doubt, its location, in the middle of the Old Quarter. It's not the cleanest place on the Earth, but is worth the price. The owner is a cool guy, full of knowledge, nice to have a chat with. Even though there is not common place it was quite easy to meet people in there and it really helped have a nice time in Hanoi.

Comfortable bed and intermitant hot water. One bathroom shared between two rooms of 12 beds. Get what you pay for.
